well the previous owner of my truck apparently almost hit a deer and ran off the road in the winter? Not too sure lol. At any rate, the rear bumper was a little tweaked and before last winter I took it off because it was scraping the body causing the paint to chip and surface rust to begin. I live in Michigan, safe to say that was the right move. However, now its been over a year since I haven't had a rear bumper! Im going to go with Coastal Offroad but theres always something more tempting to buy for the dang thing. :becky:

Just did new leather seats with heaters and ran a new $%*&! coax back to the backup camera...all items I've been putting off.

Next up to put off is trans filter / fluid change!

The only thing left, and one that I am not willing to tackle, since the outcome isn't worth the effort and cost to me, is the fuel gauge issue.

I have done everything else that I am aware of and can currently recall: Driveshaft u-joints, rear axle seal, starter contacts, fuel injectors, LBJ's and dash clock. Those were some of the common issues that I had either done preventatively, or that had become a serious problem. I have also done all of the regular maintenance things, like timing belt and its related components (plus the radiator, while I was in there).

I headed off the power antenna issue 11 or 12 years ago, after I bought it. I put a switch on the antenna, mounted on the left side of the dash, so that it didn't do that retarded up & down every freaking time I turned the key. One of the many stupid design flaws of this vehicle. And there are quite a few of those.

I've been putting off fixing the AC since I bought it, however I will not spend another summer without it so that will be my next project in the next couple months. always having multiple other vehicles to drive is what has caused me to put it off.

I also plan to install a panhard correction kit once I get around to buying a decent welder, but the road manners are fine as is so I'm not in a huge hurry to do that

For me it’s the rocker rust on the front drivers side. The bubble is slowly getting bigger.

Nothing, I've addressed every known issue, every age/wear item, all fluids, and everything functional in the past ~8 months since buying it.

I have projects in-progress (and going slow), like sorting out the electrical for my BMW seat swap (both seat movement and heaters) and sewing up seat covers for the back seats... have one cushion done, still need a template for the seat backs to make sure I have enough (matching) material.

But once those are done, there's absolutely nothing left to do that isn't just created as busy-work (and the seat covers fit that anyway).

I have this irritating rattle that comes and goes in the passenger side of the dash. I know I have the take the dash out to deal with it... been putting that off for a while. I’d rather do a clutch job than that.

I’ve got a ticking noise from the trans bell housing that I think is a cracked flex plate, and an intermittent harsh shift I’d like to address at the same time. Just need the wallet (and wife) to cool off from the supercharger

Other than that I’m missing the recline button for the driver seat and the adjustable lumbar function is inop, and I have an LED going out in the climate control display.

Valve cover gaskets, rear main seal, leaking rack and either a failing converter or a failing transmission. I'm hoping it all goes at once.

I've got a rattle that I just have to live with. At 1,900 and 2,400 rpm accelerating. I've tried everything I can think of including replacing the exhaust and pulling the CAT.

Pretty sure it is the shock absorbing spacers inside the springs in the Aisin clutch disk. It'll hopefully be a long time before I get to test that theory.

The previous owner of mine installed a new windshield and apparently didn’t have the chrome inserts for around it... he put it in with black silicone... so I’ve been putting off removing the silicone and installing the chrome for yrs... windshield isn’t broke and it doesn’t leak so I guess one day I will have to take care of it.

Just had a whole laundry list of things repaired at the stealership. Cost me $6k. Things remaining:
-Need to have hood, grill, front panels, and side finders repainted after 23 years of road debris hitting them.
-Need to have leather driver’s seat reupholstered. Leather center console cover replaced by new leather. And leather steering wheel rewrapped.

Owning 5 3rd gens my list is too long to type. My rockers were on the list for a long time. I did get the drivers side completed. I have the passenger side on and primed. I just need to smoothed up and probably reprimered before I paint it.
Weather too crappy to mess with it for now.
