Check out this 4Runner for sale. Look at the badges on the front doors.
2008 TOYOTA 4RUNNER SR5 SPORT EDITION 4WD
I'm not sure whats going here. It should just have SR5 4WD by my reckoning, since this is clearly not a sport edition or an urban runner, but the pics are not clear enough to easily read the extra badging.

Thoughts? I suspect some douche has added Sport Edition badges for the fun of it...

It says SR5 4WD Sport Edition. It was probably put on there by the dealer to bump the price up (sorta like adding TRD stickers to a Tacoma).

You should play it to your advantage and tell them you need the hood with scoop since it's a Sport Edition. Tell them some douche put an SR5 hood on it.

Then swap me the scoop hood for my natural white SR5 hood.

From the looks of it, definitely an SR5 and NOT a Sport Edition...heck the badge on the driver's side isn't even in the correct order...plus its missing smoked headlights, non-round tube roof rack & running boards, wheels are different, missing hood scoop, side mirrors are NOT painted like they should

Agreed, no smoked grille, no hood scoop hood, no tube rack. It's just an SR5 with an extra badge :madgrin:

Seems like when a vehicle is wrecked too, after lame body shop work they have badges in wrong places and stuff.

It's a red flag to me when I see it.
