What color to paint the wheels?

The 16" 5 stars look better than those rear wheels.
I did my wheels gloss black. I get compliments all the time on them.
My advice, stray away from flat colors. They won't last as long and look dirty much faster than gloss.

Yeah.. I like the 5 stars also. But I want a bit of larger and wider wheel, that would help with cornering/roll. Its the main reason why I dont want too high of a lift. I want it to be as comfortable and handles best as possible on the pavement. Im only using this for the occasional offloading trip, camping and fishing. Its not going to be a wheeler. Im just not into that.
I want to put this together on a budget, and know I can take it anywhere.
Not to mention I picked up these set of wheels for 80bucks.

Well look at my truck. 3" lift. 16" wheels with now 33" tires.
Works great as a part time off-road vehicle. I probably go out 3-4 times a year at most.

OP, there's really going to be next to no difference in those 17's vs. the 16's as far as handling/cornering goes. These things are heavy, tall center of gravity, body on frame trucks. They really don't handle/corner well at all. And if you're going to lift it, it'll be that much worse. If you like the look of the 16's better, stick with them. Sell the 17's and use the money to buy poly sway bar bushings and wheel spacers. These parts will do more for you than the 17's will.

I have those 4th gen wheels on my truck painted graphite and I personally like the look more than five stars, which is a close second along with the 17" Tundras. The good thing is both of those wheels are pretty sought after and you won't have a problem selling either set.

Yes i am selling them. I have not put it for sale yet. They have generic brand tires tread is still good. I just had them rebalanced a few days ago. . I'm not sure if it is worth your while to ship that far. Send me a pm if your serious.

I like the dark graphite or gunmetal like ScatAdams has. Especially with your color truck. I am probably in the minority, but I like the 17s better than the 16" 5 stars. Those are pretty common on 3rd gens, but those 17s aren't.

I personally like the 4th gen sport wheels better than the 5 stars. Keep those and it's nice having so many more tire size options in 17's as well. I do agree a black or graphite would look good. I just don't bronze will look particularly great on those wheels.
