What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

Here in Austin, Maund Yota 06 SR5 2wd V8 out the door for $27,159. Leather, keyless alarm, sunroof, double cargo, spoiler, 17" rims with Mich cross terrains. Stickered for $32 and change + the 2K rebate that month.

Ok sorry for what I missed or wasn't exact on the MSRP on my 06 SR5 V8 2WD (typical SR5 2WD V8 gulfstates yota) with leather, sunroof, keyless alarm, double cargo,spoiler,17 rims with mich cross terrains (not typical of gulfstates yota) was $32,159. In July of this year Yota had a 2K rebate and invoice (by Edmunds) on that trucks was $28+change sorry don't remember exact dollar amount. We payed $27,159.

Need some opinions if this is a decent price, or should we looka round some more.

Looking at a 2006-2007 V8 4WD Sport Editions. I really wanted side curtain air bags, and finding an already built sport model with airbags was proving to be difficult. (I did not want to customize one as I wanted to be able to utilize this car for winter, and it has already snowed a few times)

I was not able to find any of what I wanted from local dealerships, but one dealer found what I was looking from another dealer which they could agree to make a trade with. They found me a

They offered the price of $35,159 before TTL. Looking it up with options, I found the MSRP to be $37,194, Invoice was $32,876, and TMV was $36,000.

Is this a decent price? And do you think it's worth it to try another dealership (40 miles away) to see if they can offer a better price without even having the car in their lot?

Just an update. We went to check out another dealer, gave them the low down and said how much can you beat this price by (which was coming out to ~38,000 after michigan tax, title, plate etc) After some haggling, we got them down to 35,000 after taxes and we said that we would take care of the plate ourselves. Deal. Before taxes etc, I think we ended up paying about $32,900

After being burned buying a new Land Rover and having it break down so often, I decided not to go new again, and to buy a used Toyota.

I just got my 03 Limited V8 from a farmer WAY out in the countryside. It was his wife's vehicle. I am not sure what all comes standard with the 03 Limited, but I think the JBL Surround, Adjustable Suspension, and 6 Disc Changer were optional. It also has all the creature comforts! 57,000 miles.

I just looked at an 07 Limited V6 in the showroom and except for a few minor things, you would be hard pressed telling them apart. The new one is 41K. Edmunds said almost 23K for mine, and I got it for just under 21K. Took it to Toyota for a thourall service and inspection, and it has a clean bill of health!

Mine had 29k when I walked out the door with an extended platinum warranty for $24k. 4WD vehicles are pricey up here.

I just dumped my 2001 Range Rover. They suck! I still had a warranty on it but it would break constantly. The last repair took 4 weeks. I got tired of the bad service and poor quality.

2004 sr5 w/ 23000 miles for $9400 (its a wrecked vehicle right now but its only going to cost around 3k to fix).

$30,750.00 out the door. I purchased the vehicle in Colorado and went through a broker rather than a dealer. This was by far the best and easiest experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Going forward I will always use a broker if available and I hope they are around in South Carolina since I have moved there.
