i got it for 31... I got a great deal thru my fiancee's job. her boss is a dealer (he sells all makes) and he got it <b>way</b> below invoice!
What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

i bought my 4runner on March 19th, 2006. a 2006 sport edition, v8, 4x2, grey mica, for $29,700 otd. only thing added was the alarm and the exhaust tip. i took the $1000 off instead of the 2.9% financing, since that worked out better for me in the end. tax and license was about 10%. i went through fleet instead of sales. i bought it at longo toyota, el monte, ca. good dealership, good people.

we're a toyota family. camerys, avalons, siennas...although this is the first 4runner. after all those cars, we know a few guys in their fleet department. and they're a really big dealership, 26,000+ cars a year. i imagine they can sell a few cars closer to their cost than most other dealerships.

Well, I paid 26,500.00 OTD for my 2004 SR5. It has leather put in it, so that was a plus. As much as i LOVE the 4runner, I know i got HOSED on the deal. I have found quite a deal of ACCIDENT damage to the truck, but i bought it CERTIFIED USED. I just got REVO's put on today, so i am happy!!!!

I paid 26,200 with tax, tag for my 2004 V8 Sr5, 17", Roofrack, Moonroof, DD Cargo, and leather steering wheel, new in jan of 05. not too bad.
I think MSRP was a little under $37k.
I am paying $33k.
2006 Sport Edition V8 4WD with leather, sunroof, daytime running lights, double decker cargo system w/ cargo net, sunroof wind deflector, spoiler-delete, carpet floormats, wheel locks, autodimming rearview mirror with compass.
After taxes and my trade-in, I will be walking out the door at just over $31k. I probably could have gotten a slightly better deal, but I'm kinda over it.
BTW, I am getting mine fresh off the boat. It will probably have under five miles on it and will have never been test-driven or have sat on a sales lot.
I am paying $33k.

Bought a 2005 4x4 V8 limited loaded minus nav, with 115 miles. The vehicle sat in the showroom ceramic tiled floor all winter. On April 29th I picked her up all waxed and ready to go. MSRP was 41,000 and I paid 35,000 before taxes. Traded in a 97 Ford Explorer XLT with 97,000 reliable miles for 3,000. The Runner is Gallatic gray and gray leather interior.

I paid $33,000 for my 2006 V8 4x4 Sport Edition.
Was able to get the 2.9% APR also, so I feel like I got a very fair deal, considering where I live...where EVERYTHING related to cars is more expensive.
Was also pretty happy with the dealer, so I didn't feel that bad about helping them keep the lights on.

A sore point with me is that most if not all toyota dealers in Canada participate in 'Access Pricing', meaning that they have posted a price slightly less than MSRP. My dealer uses Access pricing and anyone can see the price at Toyota.ca I think I paid about $40,000 in late 2003 for my 2004, but you really don't know what my trade was valued.
I gather than 'some dealers may sell for less' but yet to hear of one. The only deal we might be able to get here is a better deal if you have a trade, but again the 'Black Book' lists 4Runners for much less than being fetched in the real world.
Should I buy another Toyota, I hope this marketing plan does change, or else more dealers choose to not participate, but with high sales of Toyota product, why would they not want to increase their profit margins.

I bought my truck from the interior from this quote. My dad's FJ too! I can not mention the dealers name because they are afraid toyota canada will take away their inventory list. There are members on this board who are dealers.

I have 06' SE 4x4 w/ JBL Synthesis 6 disc, moonroof, DD Cargo, Floor Mats, Pin Stripe, and Toyoguard Plus with 15 miles on it after test drive. MSRP was little over $36,000. Got it for $31,000 plus the 3 T's. Little over $33,000 out the door. $13,000 down and my payments are $400 a month. Insurance for it was only a dollar more then insuring our 01' Civic for full coverage, which I really don't quite understand but I'll take it.
