What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

Bought mine 3 weeks ago at a car auction for 4900 plus 500 auction fee. Did a car fax on it the night before and inspected it for 5 min before it was shown to the public. 2003 V8 Sport Edition with 194K. Wish me luck lol

This was why I did not buy from the auction.. It cost almost as much as private party.. But you have to pay full fees and taxes without talking to the owner for history.. I mentioned earlier. I got my 2003 v8 140k for 7,500.

I was looking at Manheim average prices and some were going for 8-10k.

Just picked up a 2004 SR5 4WD V6 with 200K for $6500.

I got a perfect 04 4R SR5 V8, for $4200. It'll be a great starting platform for a trail rig after I'm done modding her up.

4WD Silver/stone '06 V8 Limited with 65k miles. Looks new inside and out, only flaw i could find was a small ding in the front bumper, didn't even notice it first walk around. Had a spotless Carfax and decent Toyota records, Yokahama tires with 8 weeks and 1,100 miles on them. Seller asked and got $16,500 for it, he had bought a used LX570 and just needed the cash.

I'd been looking for a 4Runner for over 2 years, had some pretty specific criteria (limited in silver, mica or black; under 100k; no accidents and decent records; 4WD; wanted V8 but would settle for the right 6, wanted NAV but would could do without for the right one.)

I've looked at over a dozen over the last two years, finally got lucky. Now the motorcycle can have a well-deserved rest.

I bought my dad's 03 SR5 4x4 V8 with 44000 miles for $14,700. I tried to haggle with him a little but he was stubborn and said it was the blue book value or he was trading it in. So I bought it. I love the thing. Dad bought a new 2015 limited.

Looks like everyone else got a lot better deal then me. Maybe because I live in California and they hold their value great here.

I bought my 2006 sport edition 4WD V6 about a month ago with 100k miles for $14,500. It's in pretty good shape, not as clean as my BMW but I wasn't expecting it to be. I kept my car meticulously clean and well taken care of and it still always broke down. That's why I got rid of it, I wanted something more reliable.

I bought my 2006 T4R Limited V8 in 2011 with 42,000 miles for $18,000. It was in great condition and just needed a good interior and exterior detailing. I have been very pleased and have only done the typical maintenance to it. I plan to modify the suspension, and a few other areas when I have the money.

2003 LIMITED v6. one owner (old lady) all records including original window sticker for over 38K -

UNBELIEVABLE condition. could eat off it. interior 10 out of 10.

116,000 miles.


Paid $10,300.

Last October I picked up 2004 4Runner Sport V6 from a private seller for $9000. Only had 116,000 miles. I love the truck.

Looking at all these prices, I paid $4200 Canadian for my 2004 SR5 V8 4x4 185,000 K's mint

I changed out the timing belt and the front axles, changed all fluids. End of the day $5100cd, thinking I got a good deal.

2007 SR5 4x2 with only 40K miles, I paid $15k for it. I bought it from a seller who had a work vehicle so the vehicle was barely driven. Garage kept and it looked like it just came off the assembly line.

Only thing I did so far for maintenance was to purchase new tires. It still had the stock dunlops on it.

paid 10k for my sr5 v6 with 80k on the clock. Bought it from a lady who was going threw a divorce and the agreement was her husband had to buy her a new vehicle. Thanks to Marriage turmoil I got my baby.

Got mine back in December after a month of searching for both late 3rd Gens and Early 4th Gens, managed to get my hands on a 2003 SR5 V6 with 73k on the clock for 10k. Drove 100 miles to get the damn thing, the salesman knew I wasn't leaving empty handed, so there was no negotiating the sticker price, but I still think I got a pretty good deal.

2005 sr5 v6 with tdr 20" chrome wheels, 47000 miles for $13,750 after I used a USAA discount of 250$ off. The vehicle is in excellent condition but I find a way to jack it up no pun intended.

First time post

Just bought my 05 limited V8 4x4 with 99k miles for $13,000 at an auction. Full maintenance history was done at Toyota (used the website login) and timing belt, brakes, and 100k mile check up were just done. Could use some tires before winter but pretty happy. No accidents and only a few scratches. No cracking on the leather.

I know I could have looked around and got it for cheaper but I like the piece of mind buying from someone who did every single maintenance item at Toyota.

Just picked up a 04 Limited 4wd V6 mint condition, no cracks in leather, no wrecks, one owner and detailed maintenance, 168k miles, paid $8k, very happy with this vehicle! Big difference coming from a Tundra, That was a big ass truck compared to these runners.
