As also stated, get rid of the hose clamp on your CV boot. Hose clamps are for hoses, not CV boots. Replace them while you are doing the axle seals. .

There are many people on the forum who have had issues with leaky CV boots due to bad clamps. Many people are replacing them with certain "hose Clamps" with very good long term success. I just bought the recommended clamps and I'm doing mine this weekend. $10 permanent fix.

One of my buddies with a 3rd gen did the same fix w/no issues. SS, no sharp edges, reusable and inexpensive...great combo. :D

Looks like oil is leaking from the axles.

Nice. Any issues/advice for those of us who haven't had to do it yet, like getting the old one out or new one in?

Yeah the old one was a hmmmm pain to get out. We used a flat head screw driver and pried it out. We used a mason jar to push the new ones in. Also some elbow grease and southern ingenuity. ;)
