Hi,

So I was trying to disconnect a rubber hose today but ended up breaking off the nipple that the hose was connected to. Does anyone know what it is so I can order a replacement?

Thanks in advance!

I believe that is for your heater. Hope it's not cold where you are.

yes that is your heater control valve. you can not drive your vehicle now as your broke that valve before the valve and you have no way to stop coolant from pouring out of the hose. you would need to some how plug that hose in order to drive your vehicle now. i suggest buying a new one from toyota ASAP that plastic gets old and brittle. id also suggest replacing all the associated heater hoses with that valve

i had mine break, fortunately i was in the process or replacing it when mine broke. -i had noticed it starting to leak coolant so i just bought a new valve and hoses, and all was good.

Awesome, thank you for the quick answers everyone. I am currently in the process of removing the heads so I can replace the head gaskets. It won't be on the road for a while since I only occasionally get to work on it after work.

yeah then defenatly replace all those heater hoses back there, they are a royal pain to replace with the heads and manifolds on... being as though you are already there, save yourself the headache later.
