Yeah, that chrome rail is not my thing. I like to blend in. I did my rack using Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating, from this link:

They turned out pretty much the exact same color and appearance as the rack covers. Find the link on this site which shows where the cover popouts are, but IIRC they are at 3" and 7" from the front corner of each cover. Removing the rack was a piece of cake, and I generally suck at wrenching.

I removed the front emblem using these instructions: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-g...t-emblem-removal-post1623376.html#post1623376 Another very simple operation for which I almost paid someone.

I don't know how long the coating will last, although hopefully the "durability" claim will hold true. Plus I saw someone mention that some brands of coating hold mud stains. IDK, time will tell.

Thanks! They are Black Rhino Warlords in gunmetal, 18x9, +12mm offset, tires are 285/65-18

The lift is a Toytec Boss Ultimate lift, but with the fronts upgraded to the Boss 2.5

Was really impressed with the service and quality.

Although after having the new wheels and tires installed today, now I'm getting a weird creaking noise. Didn't hear it with stock tires but then I MAY have had the stereo cranked and didn't notice it. I'm assuming it is just the new suspension settling.

I know you aren't asking me, but I also have 20% front. Pic below. I have access to a meter.

These are my notes regarding the tint match:

CURRENT SETUP ----- > 20% window tint up front. This is not a perfect match to the back - the back was metered at 25%, the front is now at 19% (due to the OEM window's 75% tint), but it is close enough.

20% match was good- very very close..... Just tell your tint shop you want it to match and they can recommend options. I paid the extra $25 for suntek and can't tell the difference ( and have the lifetime warranty)

Will get some tomorrow. Little pissed as I lost the rear left center cap already. Looks like Les Schwab didn't tighten the 3 screws holding it in correctly. Will see if they will get me another one.

Yea, live up in The Parks by the HS. You wouldn't happen to be the silver T4R I've seen a couple of times turning off Thatcher onto the street that goes by the HS? Looked like a roof rack, lifted, and nice front bumper?

Was going to hit Brown's Camp today or some forest roads, but ended up selling my old tires/wheels and went shopping. Will be heading to my parent's in Central Washington in 2 weeks, so will hit some Forest Service roads up there!

lol where have you been? every road improved or not has idiots flying around on it within 60 miles of Salt Lake/Happy valley. It's kinda nuts, shockingly so. It has really only gotten super weird in the last 10 years or so.

My 4Runner was parked in the driveway... wifey backed out of garage and hit it. Just grazed the slider, tiny scratch, small mark on her passenger rear quarter panel. She thought I'd be mad, I laughed. :kiss:

Twin Lakes Trail in the North Cascades, ends up at the trailhead for Winchester Mountain

How did the 20% on the front match up with the rears? When I put 20% on my 2015 Tacoma it was darker then the rear. I had to add 50% to the rears to make everything match.

It seems pretty well balanced to me. I'm liking how it came out!
