What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

I went for AVS Bugflector II.

I did not install silicone "bumps" as they are not really needed. I'm attaching the label with part number if anyone with older 5th gen (2010-1013) is looking for it.

I also installed the Bugflector II this weekend, along with the Lamin-X yellow film on my fogs. I don't have a pic yet, but I also set my startup image and screen off image on my nav to the To-yoda image. My wife appreciated that last one. I've seen the Toyota front badge that has the horns...does anyone know if someone makes one with the Yoda ears!? TRD wheels are also enroute, hoping to get tires on them later this week and looking to go Falken AT3W, though still debating P vs LT.

There is a different shape for gen 5.5, so bumps might be needed. The one I installed would rather brake before touching the hood.

The only spot where it was possible to bend it to touch the hood was the "wing" on each end, but it would require 500 mph wind to do that :shrug:

I have the same in Tacoma - plenty of space between the shield and the metal.

Drove out to Yosemite for the weekend to catch the fall colors. I HIGHLY recommend visiting the park this time of year. The park was almost empty compared to the summer/spring.




Made the hike from the valley floor up to Glacier Point and back down again... seriously EPIC hike and views the whole way up.

I didn't get to go into the canyon because the first obstacle world have ripped my NFab steps off and probably worse. I realized I made a mistake getting N Fab steps. I need some sliders that will actually protect. Where do you think is the best place to sell? Local or web?

Received my Toytec BOSS lift with the new rear remote reservoir shocks. Also got some BFGs KO2 mounted on the SCS SR8 wheels. I noticed the front coils only have one adjustable ring and the spanner wrench is different than the ones I've had before. Has anyone else seen the front coils and wrench setup like these?

so I hated the way the hooks in the back of my sr5 looked. I wanted to hang stuff from them like a clothesline effectively and did NOT like the fact that it slipped right off, so I went looking for a solution.

Fast advice - if you use paracord and a small Niteize CamJam XT rope tightener, you can cinch that up nice and tight, no sag.

A few hundred feet from the entrance before you can't turn around. There it's a right and left turn after that picture before you enter the canyon. I walked after I parked since it was my first time there and didn't want to get in a bind. I'm positive I can make it over the first rock if I have sliders. I'm stock everything to, just KO2 tires. It's a tight turn, but can be done. I just didn't want to test it with the nFabs.

Funny you said that, few post later we have another one with very "big drawers" :loco:

Is there any way to limit the size of pictures attached to posts (or at least displayed on the forum)
to some reasonable number like no more that 1024px wide? As soon as someone puts a huge picture in the post
the page format goes to drain making the whole page of posts unreadable.

I understand that some people are "technically challenged" and they don't know how to resize pictures taken by their phone
but the forum software should be smart enough to either limit that or at least do not let display humongous images.

I love my Runner but would take a Landspeeder in a heartbeat. No suspension mods necessary. lol
