Thanks for the pics. Do you have a moon roof? I'm interested in your Yakima front rack, but I want to install it so that the bar does not go over my moon roof. I'd like to install it between the windshield and the moon roof. A close up picture from behind the front rack would be useful. Thanks.

Got my first service (5000 miles) done today at the dealer. I get nervous that they will mess something up every time I go the stealership.

Saw these brand new frames sitting in the back parking lot. I'm guessing one was for a Tacoma but couldn't tell what the other one was.

This rusted out frame was sitting behind the new ones.

Last week: Windshield #5 on my 2013! Hope this one lasts longer than the last one (1 month, then 6 months looking through 2 huge cracks before I could stomach playing for another replacement )...

Replaced the cigarette light plug and installed outlet to plug arb fridge. Broke a few things along the way lol..

Finished up the switch pro, still need to clean it up a little.

That's one reason I didn't want a Limited, 20" wheels on a 4WD 4Runner is asking for destroyed tires and bent rims.

I have several issues with the 20" wheel/tire combo and the cheapest being the limited selection of tires available in the size required. If you try to go wider you run into issues with the wheel width. I also think the 17's look better on an SUV. Hence, this is our 3rd Limited and all have gotten new shoes.

Finally got the electric brake axle on the utility trailer I use for all sorts of purposes..Im really excited, because with the matching wheels and tires I garner an addtional 10 Overland points

Stock battery lasted just over 30 months. Noticed my fridge was not cooling like normal and my charger would throw a fail light when charging the battery.
Parts store test showed bad cell.

Awesome! My Odyssey 34R just arrived today and my fridge shows up in a couple days. Good choice!

From what I've read, this battery should be able to power the fridge for about 48 hours. Of course one wouldn't want to risk it that close, but those are the numbers I've found. If closing in on that number, I'm unsure how long one would have to run the car to charge the battery back up, I'm thinking it's around 4ish hours but I know very little about this stuff (which idling that long is probably not a good idea). I've got a camping trip this weekend and hope to get 36 hours out of it, I'll put my charger on it the night before, and I'll be in an area with plenty of other vehicles in case I need a jump.

My wheels and tires arrived today and I managed to get them installed. Method Racing Standard wheels with BFG KO2's in 265/70-17. So much better than the pizza cutter 20's the Limited's come with.

My wife's 2016 Limited in Blizzard White has the same wheels but with Duratracs. I will not be putting the Duratracs back on it once they wear out as they have gotten very noisy.

Congratulations, you have the first Limited I actually like the look of the factory chrome on! Of course it took changing the wheels, but I like those too. Nicely done.

New Horizon Vision RTT from James Baroud

Roman Schnobrich on our T4R.org forum from Bomber Products hooked me up with a great deal on a new James Baroud tent for my Overlanding 4Runner. Received it last week and added it today along with my ARB awning to get ready for adventures in the Colorado Rockies this summer. We have our first overnight this coming weekend with 30+ members of Rocky Mountain Overlanders from the front range of Colorado, and I will let you know how the set up works once we return.

I bought the Horizon Vision "soft" tent as it seemed more “maintenance free” than most older style RTT’s and quicker to set up. Also, it has a smaller footprint on my 4Runner, giving some roof space to mount other items and was lighter (100 lbs) and easier to add and remove from the truck when not in use. It took about 10 minutes to install the new tent to the roof rack and then 2 minutes to set up and deploy. Sure beats the 30+ minutes to set up my ground tent.

Built a shelf out of 1020 aluminum extrusion to secure my subwoofer to. I bolted the aluminum extrusion to my ARB drawer and will eventually mount my fire extinguisher bracket to it also.
