Blacked out the rear chrome.
The kit was so well maid, the plastic tape covers even have a little tab to make it easy to peel.
All done!
I bought the same kit, will worth the $90. Just looks so much better than plastidip. Yes it is with the $83 difference to me.

Those black plastic overlay kits are cheap junk. Yes, I too bought one lol it was easy and will hopefully last longer than plastidip. Super thin cheap Chinese garbage plastic, shouldn't have cost more than $20 on ebay. Absolutely in no way shape or form do you get $80-$90 worth of quality here. This is purely for us lazy people that just want to cover up emblems and have the extra $90 kicking around.
love the 207, Since I have Android and Apple phones ( work and Personal ) I wanted radio which can do both as well plus that can also take KAC-001 module. no complaints on Radio.
I'm having some issues with steering wheel controls so I might be taking it back to the shop and have them look at wiring or Maestro module

Thank you I appreciate it! These are up around the lake hopatcong area, they're short power line trails nothing special lol, theres so much more down south jersey way.

$90 kit is the $80 kit, you just didn't shop around lol. I've seen them up in the $109 range also, all the same kits. Front badge, rear badge, 4 runner letters, sr5 letters. I like the matte black look but I can understand having them painted depending on the application.
Like I said, I bought them also. I removed my SR5 badges because I like the look better and I sold the black SR5 overlays to someone else that wanted them. You pay for convenience and i'm fine with that, just disappointed in Toyota for selling such cheap junk.

What springs did you use up front and how much lift did you gain?
Stock springs for now and used the highest c clip. I'll post pics tomorrow after the alignment

C4 sliders finally arrived and I finally got them powder coated. Install was way harder than I anticipated. Some of it because I made dumb mistakes, some of it because the instructions were missing information, and some because holes didn't line up and I had to manually file them larger, then take my nice powder coated sliders and spray paint them hoping they won't rust over time.
Key learnings:
1) You must screw on the foot plates before installing the sliders. The back screws are basically inaccessible if you install the sliders to the car first.
2) Quadruple check that all of your holes line up before screwing things down. One of the outward facing screws and two of the vertical screws that are shared with the gas skid did not line up properly and I had to file them larger.
3) These do not play nice with the RCI fuel tank skid.
4) With the foot plates they sit very close to the door. There might be an issue opening the door if snow/ice builds up on them overnight.
That being said, they look great and I'm excited to have them.

I'm not sure you're supposed to use the highest clip. May be too high up front and can cause snap ring failure. Center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender shouldn't be more than 23" which puts you 3" over stock. Anything more than 3" over stock will destroy your front axles pretty quick and your upper control arm angles will be pretty bad. Stock uppers are pretty bad even at the 3" mark.
