Thank you sir, pretty shity picture for reference. In person the wheels look a lot more bronze with the faux beadlocks less noticeable than they are in the picture.
Going with a “colored wheel” was way out of my comfort zone but I’m happy with the results so far LOL

Had new SCS SR8 wheels installed and gave her a bath
Thought about the Ray10s but I like the angular nature of the SR8s (and the rays sold in 3 minutes).....they sit the same as stock + spider trax and dropping all that extra weight really seems to make a difference.

Lol battle scars.
Might go through them with a paint pen this weekend. Who knows. They'll get scratched up anyway. I asked SCS if they still sell those bolts in black and they said no. The silver drew too much attention IMO so I wanted to change that.

So, a lot is about to happen on the Limited.
My OEM+ JBL Enhancement kit came in today. A few issues with the install, but will have it done soon.
My FN FX Pro 17x8 wheels should be completed and shipped sometime next week. I have already bought my 285/70/17 KO2(C Rated) tires. Will have them shipped a few days before my wheel's are delivered.
Bought a Firestik II CB antenna and different mounts I'll be trying out. The Wilson Lil Wil works fine, but aesthetically, I can't do it.
I got my rear brakes done Wednesday and serevices said my XREAS "broke", so I had no other option but to rip it out and get a full suspension. It sucks, but what can ya do. :becky:
I ended up going with the Toytec BOSS Suspension lift(the $1250[plus add ons] one on their site). Should be here next week.
I decided to go with:
700lb rated front coils
2" ToyTec Lifts Super Flex HD Coil Springs
SPC Adjustable Upper Control Arms
Rear BOSS Shocks
Took off all of my plasti dip. I'm going to do it right this time, sand down the chrome and paint it. Want to trim the bumpers to line up with the rocker panels as well.
That's it for now. I'll be getting my Rago Rock Sliders ordered soon. I just have to sell a little more blood, haha. It was between theirs an C4 Fabs. I have the Shrockworks TE Rocker Trim(and no xreas), so I can mount them now.

...Yessir!....just moved here less than 2 months ago, livin outside of Bozeman in the near boonies....( shoulda moved up here decades ago...but the work was elsewhere....sigh! )...

...I hear ya...It did get my full attention...and rated a pucker-factor of about a 9.1 on the scale...but it IS what I bought this vehicle to do...get me there...and get me back....I have owned 4x4 vehicles in the past...but it has been awhile, so I am tryin to learn all that the new technology can bring along for the ride...challenging and exciting...and besides...ya gotta push yourself outta your comfort-zone every so often to feel alive!
...Since I have only owned it 2-1/2 weeks...we are still gettin acquainted with each other's skill levels...( I grew up in nasty, ugly snow conditions in the Chicago area..where the snow falls a medium grey color from all the pollutants in the air! )...
...I purchased a lot of recovery-gear before the truck arrived...but, of course, took it all out as I had planned to work in the cargo area since it was supposed to be rainin all day...so to take off for the day was a last-minute decision...which is why I did not go any further on the 5 mile trail...as I didn't want to end up being 'that' guy...Jeez!.....LOL!...
Less than 2 weeks in owning a 2011 black SR5. Working on getting rid of some of the chrome. Roof rails painted, installed Rocky road outfitters rack, swapped rocker moldings for 2014+ and installed N-fab nerf bars. Next I'm thinking Satoshi grill, and losing more chrome. I'm contemplating a 2014+ front end swap, but that will depend on finding a used black bumper assembly locally. Not likely. Any other ideas for improving the look/stance of a 2010-2013 on a budget without lifting it?

Spacers and wider tires (may rub until you do the fender liner mod).

If you don't have one already a polarizer filter would be a fun accesory for you. Sometimes it is nice to just enjoy the moment and not fiddle with camera gear, nothing stupid about it. Congrats on your move!

How do you like the rear bumper? Does it seem flimsy with the tire holder being bolt on? I doubt I will see one in person since I'm in Az, but I like the price and it seems functional.
