What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

With a new roof rack and hardshell roof top tent going on this week I won’t be able to pull into my garage with it on anymore to work on it so today was major service day. I did my trans service service, fluid in all 3 diffs, oil change, brake fluid flush, coolant flush, power steering flush, greased all the driveshaft fittings, air filter, pvc valve, spark plugs, pulled the wheels and went back and retorqued all the bolts after doing the JBA upper control arms and King suspension a couple thousand miles ago, a couple other odds and ends. Just rolled 100,000 miles but it drives like new!

Minus the one morning in Crater Lake for about 2 hrs, there was smoke from lower than Grand Canyon in AZ through entire British Columbia. Smoke stopped just before Yukon Territory

Installed a Sprint Booster on my 18 4Runner, all of 15 minutes to complete, transforms the throttle 100%
I mounted the the little controller on the blank panel next to interior light switch (drilled a 1/4 hole in blank plate to run wire) very clean setup
Setting green 9 or red 9 are my preferred settings

(I've sold a slew of these for the Honda Ridgeline (another vehicle with the same issues as the 4Runner) because that truck has some natural hesitation and people loved them. These don't give more hp, which many think that's what it does. It makes the vehicle feel more like there's a direct link, a cable link from the pedal to the throttle body, which most of these drive by wire setups still aren't instant like an old school cable would be. Gives a more instant feel when merging from an exit onto the highway, more instant response when mashing the throttle, and quick pass bys where you may need to get out the way quick, it's just all around more instant.)

I just ordered a X2 Power myself, where did you get your battery tray? Other than the battery tray, was it plug and play after that?

I use the DeLorme Pennsylvania Atlas & Gazetteer. Think I paid around $20.00 at local bookstore or Rutters, Wawa or such.

I just talked to me one tech and he said to stay away from the maf sensor.

But, the sprint booster WILL fix the delay in the pedal and will wake the truck up. I've now sold over 20 of these for 5th gen 4runners and the review on T4r.org don't lie.

eBay universal fits up to a group 31 yes plug and play

Got my second battery installed now just need to get it wired up (moving sucks) then got in on the TW Wit's End QD plug group buy and plugged my QD on the front. Def wish I had done that sooner.

What did you use to run the air line to the front? I am thinking about doing a very similar run to the front grille area so I don't need to worry about popping the hood open when using the compressor.

I used to have a Gen4 and still hava a 2011 FJ Trail Team...coming out of a 2017 Raptor. Loved it but too big and impractical for the the midwest now. Sad about the Raptor, happy about another 4Runner.
