Dang was hoping iPhone. I am looking at the Torque Pro on iPhone. I am sure it functions the same. How are you liking so far?

It is nice. I had to input the codes for the transmission converter temp and transmission pan temp myself with the help of this forum, but other than that all the other stuff was there already. I'm not sure how good the apple version is, but you can always buy a cheap Samsung tablet to run the android version.

You have to do the same with the iPhone version unless you want to spend another $10(I think) for the Toyota Pack.

How do you like the toytecs? only asking as I put them on in June and not impressed at all.Crawled around in a hotter than fire garage for some lift therapy. Installed a new ToyTec lift. Made friends with my torque wrench.
Broke an ABS line....realized after the dash pretty much called me an idiot. Does it really take that many lights to do that?

I had them on my gen 4 too. Not sure what’s not to like. I had OME on a Jeep and a Tacoma. The ToyTecs are stiffer than the OME’s but still ride nice. What were you expecting?

Will do! First and second trip are already scheduled for September. Neither of them will be boondocking or anything, just campgrounds. I doubt I'll take this anywhere more extreme than some nicely groomed forest service roads. But that should be enough to rattle the thing to pieces.

Nah, it should be fine. I'm just setting my expectations low since if you read reviews on ANY recreational vehicle on the internet, they're all apparently terrible whether you spend $10,000 or $200,000. Apparently putting a rolling house through a 4.0 magnitude earthquake for hours on end takes its toll.
But that's one of the reasons I like the 16.5. It's got a few less bells and whistles than the other ones: no slide-out, no range hood, no microwave, basic wet bath. Figure it's less systems to get upset.
I'm not actually too worried about it. Excited to pick it up in a few hours! I'll be sure to post some pictures of it attached to the rig later today.

Ha! My wife and I spent like three nights in a row watching videos and looking at photos for hours on end before deciding. It was ridiculous.

Very nice video! I especially enjoy your smooth videography; unlike so many showing ghost towns and ruins with the camera panning this way and that so fast I get dizzy and quit watching. Nice drone footage as well. Enjoyed the mill and upper spur right of way of the Silver Peak Railroad.
Been an avid ghost towner most of my six and a half decades and have been to many. But not Blair. Silver Peak and mine camps in the Silver Peak Range to the west, yes. Always came from the west from Fish Lake Valley or south from Lida in the years I lived in the Owens Valley.

Rear Mud Guards
Sorry...bit off topic, but the attached PIC shows the mud guard I have on the rear of my 5th gen....it has nothing on it to indicate who the maker is, no numbers or anything. I don't think its OEM, but I'd like to use the same style on the front if I can get some help figuring out what these are.

They're OEM PM me if you want a set of OEM fronts. Took them off mine at 325 miles, still brand new.
Well it looked cool for a few seconds...
In true mass-produced travel trailer fashion, after we waited three hours to do the walk-through, finish paperwork, and them set up the 4Runner with the weight-distribution hitch and brake controller, they found a leak in one of the water pipes underneath the trailer as they brought the car around.
I told them to just hold onto it to fix it instead of bringing it back, so we unhitched the trailer and left it at the dealership.
Not a huge deal since we're flying out of town for the next week and don't have a trip scheduled until the 2nd or 3rd week of September, but it just solidifies my concerns of buying a mass produced trailer when we can't even take it off the lot before something goes wrong.
Oh well, that's what warranties are for. Hopefully it's not a huge deal and they can have it ready by the time we get back into town. Just really ****ing annoying when I was already paranoid.
Like I said though, this trailer in particular isn't too complicated since it doesn't have slideouts and other fancy stuff, so hopefully all fixes will be relatively simple.
Kind of surprised how much the rear end was sagging even with the weight distribution hitch. The thing weights 2900 lbs. I was hoping I wouldn't have to go to airbags but I may have no choice if the steering feels squirrely. Guess the leveling kit doesn't help.
