Made it back to CA yesterday (another week in Tahoe) early AM. After sleeping for a while, discovered gear oil again so drove it halfway back home to the shop that does my work. Front pinion seal went out (they weren't the ones who built the diff). While on the lift discovered that the dude in Moab I had do an alignment after springs had settled a bit more and realizing I needed to scoot my rear axle a little forward, never torqued my upper links. One nut had completely come off and the other was close. Luckily the bolt was kinda still in (about to fall out) and not lost or damaged... I was pissed. Guess I found a little clunk I had noticed and was going to have to check out... At least no damage... Getting a thorough going over after Moab part 1. I have more to do there! Must. Get. Back.

As luck would have it they had been doing some work on my 80 so I grabbed it and went back to Tahoe.

Loaded up the Runner with gear for our early morning, 15 hour trip to Ouray, CO. I'll post a trip report later and will update trail status on Bushducks.com as we run them for those of you arriving just behind us.

2 of the center caps lost their cover in shipping so I filled it with some carbon fiber I had around.

Bolem Pass

My "plan" was to finish the trip started with [MENTION=46576]jrob[/MENTION] last fall, when we got caught in the snow.

It was a beautiful day, although overcast when I got to the Graykill Mine.

Just short of the summit, snow again stopped me.

Dern. Maybe in a couple of weeks I can get over the hill to Rico.

So on the way down I took a detour up Tin Cup Road and found a deep hole. With a rock in it. Aluminum skid did its job, but now needs to come off and get straightened out.
