Shiny tires are nasty looking on offroad trucks :biggrin1: :barf:

Shows cars with dressed tires, sure if that what you're into.

I use CG Wheel and Tire cleaner and a good scrubber to clean off grime. Simple green diluted works really well too.
Not too toxic.

Buy the cheapest tire foam you can find. Armor All fits that bill around here. Lightly spray tire instead of heavily coating the tire. That method will give you a clean unshiny tire. Wipe your rims and you are good to go.

It works better than Simple Green, certainly not by leaps and bounds, you spray, let it sit, then scrub. I spray on Einszett 1Z vinyl-rubber to moisturize/protect the rubber (spray it on leave it to dry), low/no gloss tires just look not wet black. My truck lives outside, the sun hammers the rubber, unfortunately.

Not sure anything can beat a foam, it has that wonderful stick and stay power. I might give that stuff a try.

I've got them too. Great tire, and you can't beat the 50-60,000 tread wear warranty!

Oh I like that setup. Even though use on-road is "illegal". I think this will be the way I am heading, because the orange light, low down will show more of the road in rain/snow conditions. Are you running the spot pattern? Did you angle below the headlight line?

Did a little wheeling today out at the Prairie City SVRA. First time out there and no one was there so I was able to go tearing through the place like I stole my 4runner. I have never had the chance to race around a course, do slides, donuts, and whatever else I wanted in a 4x. Total blast but I would have been better with others. I could not do some of the crawling I wanted without a spotter. As it was I hit a rock in the back and broke my hitch electrical connection cap. It sits right behind the leaf springs on my sr5. Rookie mistake.

I was cruising there with my back window down and then forgot to put it up before hitting the dirt. I got a cloud of dust so think in my 4runner I could not see beyond the back seat. So I spent the rest of the day cleaning it out. that was not as fun as the off roading...

What made you mount the light bar behind the front bar on your Gobi? Looks like its set up for a 40" in front as it does not have the vertical supports.

It was initially made for 4 6" rigid, I cut the bracet off, it's actually in between the bars

Did that the second day I owned mine. Drove to a dog park that has a long dirt path to get to it. Had the dog in the back, all the windows down, enjoying myself.....absolutely filled the car with dust.
