Thanks man. I'm gonna wait till I bash up my TRD skid plate before I replace it. But yeah I've heard nothing but good things about that filler plate. Did you install yours already? Will I need an impact gun to get my existing one off and install the new one?

After trashing the stock crossmember/oil-pan skid plate on the loaner 2016 Tacoma the aftermarket one from RCI was a no brainer.

haven't installed, just shipped yesterday and haven't looked into install tips or tricks, i'm hoping just a power drill can get it loose tho, otherwise ill be making a trip to home depot

Sat in my 4Runner and had a moment of silence for my friend's 2 month old altitude black TRD Pro. He was rear ended while at a dead stop by a Denali doing ~40mph. Thankfully the friend is fine, a little sore, but back to work already. The fate of his TRD is still yet to be decided. I was told the truck is in very bad shape at both ends. The force of the impact lifted the rear end and pushed him 20ft into the car in front of him as well.

Installed a set of OME 2897 rear coils to accommodate CBI Bumper, gear, and newly purchased CVT tent. It's pretty stiff with just CBI bumper (sans swing out and spare) but not too bad. I still fit in my garage so I am pumped.

I got the cheapest one on amazon. TBH its an OK product but it doesn't really wash it that well, I just got it for the winter when I don't want to get my hands cold and want to give it a quick wash. For $25 I can't really complain though as it's better than me feeding coin operated ones. Also, I noticed with mine that when I adjust the application of the foam that it doesn't really stay tight. It's either super narrow or very wide, it doesn't like to stay at a medium width..... if that makes sense
