In true Aztek fashion, it leaks oil all over the damn place. It belongs to an adult child of the neighbors across the street so it only leaks oil there half the week.

Rotated my tires in my garage while its dumping snow outside. Went to Home Depot and bought a new dremel since mine died. Then stopped to get my Craftsman ratchet rebuilt as it seized, lasted 17 years.

Way before their time? Toyota vans from the 80s had the same formula; versatile vehicle that would handle moderate terrain, catered to the active lifestyle, and had cool/unique features. The Aztek was a depressingly typical GM attempt; akin to when Homer was given a design team on the Simpsons to design a car.

Continued our exploration of our new home in Cali, went out to the beach and did a few miles in the sand, went out to the Redwoods and had lunch on a sand bar on the Eel River, hit some dirt roads in the mountains.

Thanks to Chromedome35 for giving me the idea to get some Rigid boxes from Home Depot. I got the basket, medium box and small box. Nothing rolls around back there anymore. The basket holds the recovery gear and various ropes & tie downs, the medium is all tools, and the small holds all the superfluous knick-knack crap we all seem to collect (chargers, plugs, spare whatevers and what-nots).

Dealer drilled the plate holder into it so I sold it. Then I decided to do a southern style off-road slim bumper so I decided not to replace it and just wait til I get the SSOR bumper

No kidding, I like snow but I hate the length of winters in CO. To be fair I was Mtn biking two days ago, but why is it on the nice weekends I have commitments and on the cruddy weekends I'm clear?

Took our first trip to the dunes today since getting the runner. Towed like a champ. Next time we're sand camping so it will have to go out on the sand.
