Thanks! The 4Runner is the first time in 15 years that my vehicle is actually worth more than the mountain bike it's carrying, of course I was basically driving beaters to afford the bikes.
Yup if I put my bikes on the T4R, they are worth as much as it is.....

Rigid Spots and SCS F5 Wheels
Finally got around to having the (4) Rigid Industries SR-Q spots which I'd bought a while back from [MENTION=55891]Bandit Runner[/MENTION] (thanks again!) installed onto my Gobi Stealth rack, then hooked up to my sPOD. They complement my Rigid grille light perfectly. lol.
I also swapped out my 2013 Trail wheels for SCS F5 wheels in Matte Black (thanks, Vin @ [MENTION=88453]SCSPerformance[/MENTION]!). Not only do they look awesome, but they're noticeably lighter than the Trail wheels. In fact, they're a full 10 lbs lighter per wheel (my Trail wheels were powder coated.. dunno if that contributed to weight, but I just weighed them without the tires. Trail = 32 lbs, SCS F5 = 22). Accelerating and braking no longer feels like a burden, and I don't believe that's a placebo effect given the 31% decrease in weight per wheel.

Just got my 4R back from the shop for the 5th time. It's taken them multiple tries to repair my front bumper & fender from when I got hit with a piece of truck tire kicked up by the car in front of me. The 4R was 2 weeks old [emoji17]
Anyways, when I got it home I realized that a corner of the bumper has popped out...? After pushing on it, it seems to have stayed in but it's still not matching up with the fender 100%. Both of those are brand new replaced by the shop.
This is before and after pushing it in.
I suspect it's just how the bumper is formed, since it is plastic. I'm tired of taking it in for this, especially if they can't do anything about it. So, I'd just like to know if anyone else's bumper and fender don't line up perfectly.

One bit of friendly advice on those, have the top leading edge tack welded, not fully welded but just a tack. That prevents the skid from pulling down if a rock grabs the leading edge or impacts the back near the joint.
Ask me how I know this...

Thanks! I left the edge of the skid unpainted to get welded which I'll have a shop do.

Again JUST a tack weld, that's all that's needed. I've seen people weld that entire leading edge and then you're going to have to deal with cutting into that big weld should you need to remove them down the line.
But yeah just a tack and you're good.

So we took our 2010 Limited and our other baby 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium AWD to the dealer today, since my work situation has changed and I drive 150 miles a day for work, it made no sense to keep racking up miles on the Fusion, which even though its a 2013 was not worth much, with 5 more years of pmts left on it, and the limited with 88k miles and 5 years of pmts left on it, we are trading both in on our 2016 Brand New Toyota 4Runner limited with just 39 miles on it. Here are some pics!
Price breakdown= MSRP 47125. Price I am paying 43591 (500 below invoice)
2010 4runner trade-in value 24000, 2013 fusion (38,800 new) trade in 16k. Total after taxes and paying off both cars, and taxes and fees, I am 38,800 OTD. Thats going to be my wifes daily driver, as for me, I found a nice 2003 Mercury grand marquis with 77k miles on it in pristine shape for 1700! Cant do any better!
Bought the 4runner last january for 24,999 and the fusion this past december for 18k.
We pick up the new runner on Friday morning, PS. dealer is throwing in front bug shield and exhaust tip.
Also the 4runner has 3rd row seats, and power running boards as well!

Replaced door lock actuator motor in driver's door
Over the last week, my driver's door lock actuator has been moving very slowly, progressing to the point where it was barely moving, and then this morning completely packed up and quick working entirely.
Last week, I bought 4 replacement motors on eBay for about $6/each.
Today, I set out to replace the motor. Following the YouTube guide for replacement for a Tundra, the process was essentially the same for the 4Runner. Super easy, about 40 minutes including being an idiot and forgetting to connect the outside handle, so having to redo that.
Pic #3 is the offending, POS Toyota-provided motor.

Installed Spidertrax all around today. I do have notable rubbing, especially in reverse. I'll get out the heat gun tonight or tomorrow and hopefully take care of that. Wife won't be happy with me otherwise.
