Yeah that's on the mod list. Did that on my issued weaponage when I served, some found it funny some didn't. I thought it was hilarious. mine said bang, bang bang bang and no bang though.

Last night I installed DDM HID 35w 6000k in my headlights and the Fog lights. Only had my 4 Runner for a week. Didn't want to waist anytime getting some better lighting on this rig. Goanna need it for my Trip to LA leaving at the but crack and it is mighty dark driving down I5.:reddance:

Last night I installed DDM HID 35w 6000k in my headlights and the Fog lights. Only had my 4 Runner for a week. Didn't want to waist anytime getting some better lighting on this rig. Goanna need it for my Trip to LA leaving at the but crack and it is mighty dark driving down I5.:reddance:

How did those DDM HID's work out for you? i've always recommended theirs.. as the price is really good and they seem to be made as well as any aftermarket brand can be. Does the beam scatter? most cars i've put them on or seen them on, they tend to scatter the light resulting in getting high beamed a lot. thanks!

MOAR Light!

My dark tint caused many moments of backing-up apprehension at night. Seeking a cure, I read this post: 886 Backup light mod - Tacoma World Forums and knew that a few folks had done it with good results. Instead of a 50 watt bulb, I chose the safe route and went with a 30 watt. Ensure you purchase a 12 volt, as they have the 120 volts in the same section at the store!

This is the bulb I installed: Philips 30-Watt T4 Energy Saver Halogen Light Bulb-418822 at The Home Depot

The results are impressive IMO. Don't have pics as there are plenty on the first link above. The bulbs sold in HD do not require cutting and bending of the prongs. A cheap and effective fix for your reverse lighting conundrum.

Helping the little truck grow up. 2" in back and a little less than 3 in front plus some TC UCA yesterday and picked up the new shoes at lunch today. 33s look good to me.

This is the most crappy organized event ever. Been redirected 3 times now and sitting still in traffic for the last 45 minutes.

This is not something I'll ever recommend, or have a desire to do again. Organization staff is clueless, cops are rude.

They have worked out great, I have them in my Tundra as well and in a few past vehicle's. Only ones I got high beamed regularly for have been with the Highlander we had. I had to put 55w in the headlights because the housing was so big the 35w barley had a beam. I have a few friends that use them and we all have been pretty happy with them. Price is great on them which is why I keep getting them and I have had no issue's with parts. The beam is pretty good and not to scattered but I still think it has to do with how big the head light housing is and how high you have the headlight turned up.

Only occasionally have I gotten high beamed in my Tundra. To soon to tell in the 4runner just yet.

I ordered a full set for the head lights and just bulbs for the fog lights cause I happen to have a extra brand new set of ballasts to use. both use H11 bulbs so they are the same.
