Nah I like them painted. Same for the door handles. Could have just plastidiped them but ordered the color matched Canadian ones. Looks cleaner in my opinion.

On an unrelated note, went skiing and had reason to use the chains for the first time with the new truck.

Growing up in snow country, I wouldn't even consider putting it in 4x4 yet.

Looks like a ROLA. I just got one of their truck organizers off Amazon during a lightning deal. I like it, working out great so far. Prevents all the little stuff from falling in the crack when I pull the tray out.
We got our tree the other day, always fun doing the load and unload off the top!

Went and fetched a Christmas tree...and while I was at it...picked up a new icing decorating kit I've had my eye on for awhile...
The Christmas treat bake off is tomorrow at school...and there's this one broad that I just want to whip her a$$ in the worst way...and the new kit may push me over the top on my world famous raspberry filled wreath cookies:banana:

What does you growing up in snow county have to do with whether chains were prudent on a shaded section of a certain road in Colorado that regularly (based on personal experience the last 8 years) has a layer of ice under the snow near a runoff in October and November? Just curious.

Despite babysitting a house full of sick kids and starting to feel like this :toilet: myself, I installed my 10" Rigid SR SPOT today in the center of my Gobi. Just couldn't wait.
I don't recall anyone else having the spot beam?
A quick night drive confirms that the spot was a good choice when combined with the two 6" Specter driving lights on the sides. According to the Rigid light chart it projects useable light over 1/4 mile...yeah. It borders on stupidity, that's how bright they are.

What size tires are those exactly? Several of us run 295/65R18 (myself) or 295/70R17, a handful even run larger (305s). Those may fit your TE!
