yeah I puss'ed out and got 265's, every time I do something to the truck I run into "technical" problems (knock on wood) didn't want to invest in a lift to fit 285's and have a new problem at this time.

Testing my Trailhead deflators today and when finished I noticed a leak from one of the valve stems. Do not think the Trailheads would have done that. When I put a tool on it, it needed about a half turn. I think Toyota left it too loose. The others were OK. Wanted to post this as an FYI for others.

Got my 540s mounted. I had purchased the grill to do a full mod, but after comparing the thin metal screen to my OEM grill I like the factory a lot more. So I decided to try and sink these lights and it turned out great. Love the look.

As promised, went to High-Tech today to get my Duratrac's mounted on my Countersteer's.
Service was FLAWLESS and I FINALLY was able to get a proper wheel and tire job done! (will never go to any shop in Frederick ever again, I will ONLY go to High-Tech!)
And I came home to boxes
momo shifter, weathertech front and rear floor liners, husky cargo liner, and RAM mount rearview mirror gps mount.
Pics of everything to come later after I finish my plastidip job some time soon.

We headed on down the road and picked up a dual battery system from Kodiak. His shop is really cool and he has some product that is not on his website yet.
I'm going to get a block of six switches that will run my lights, compressor, 110 power in the back and other things. It's computerized, so I don't need relays, fuses or 2,000 hole in my dash. It's a decent price and not having to muck with all that extra work is going to be fine by me.

installed the Toyota crossbars. I'll be mounting a Thule MOAB today. I spent the time assembling it last night, and when I was finally done it was dark, so I wanted to wait for the daylight.

While viewing a photo on your device - click the EDIT button, then click the button twice that rotates the photo to turn it upside down, and save it. Once again view the photo, then click the EDIT button, then turn it wright side up and click save. Works everytime.....no clue as to why. Problem I can't figure out is how to upload more than one photo at a time using an iPad.:smashputer:

it's only on this forum, I uploaded them to FB, and they went up just fine.
But anyway...as soon as it was light enough to get out there, I walked out to the parking lot and tossed it up and started cranking it down.
used the Toyota x-bars to help keep the profile low. Loving the way it looks, and already getting some compliments from the guys...and turns out one is a Chiver too!

Today, I celebrated 1 yr of being the proud owner of my very first, 5th generation 4Runner "limited"! A year ago today, after saving up some serious $$,$$$-and when the time was right (Wed 4/18/12), I went to a local dealership and ordered the truck that I "couldn't live with-out".
Because of the "Blizzard Pearl" color, it was considered a special order; not in stock, so it would need to be located and delivered. It was ordered that Wed night, and ready to be driven home on Sat the 21st...needless to say, I couldn't sleep at all those 3 nights.
It's been a great truck and has caused me NO GRIEF what so ever! Here's a shot of the odometer, as taken today 4/18/13*****Cheers
