Installed my Gobi Stealth finally. Ladder tomorrow! Thanks to Okki and Antman for the install tips. Went pretty smooth! Will be searching for a good ladder install thread this evening.

Started my Plasti dip on all Chromed items and other stuff

It was first experience with Plasti Dip. I blacked out the front badging, fog bezels, and the side chrome strips.

Removing the parts was somewhat of a pain, but I think it turned out pretty well.

And the main reason to doing the work today, was to install the new DeeZee running boards, mainly for my wife and soon to be newborn child.

Tomorrow should be an early morning car wash, followed by the TE roof rack install and rear badging plasti dip.

For those of you who plasti dipped the front/rear chrome strips, can you do it while mounted on the truck? (No way am I removing both bumpers!)

Shouldn't bother with taking anything off...just tape a 1" square and then an extra foot or so around whatever it is you are spraying and go to town. Just peel off what you don't want.

Installed the airlift 1000's, got dark before I put the air valve in. I'm going to mount it where the trailer jacks are. It was fairly easy. I jacked up one side, stuffed the bag inside the spring and ran the tubing through the existing hole in the lower spring mount. Then did the other side.

Towed the camper to Roscoe...weather ain't so hot but damn the beers cold....hittin' the streams hot and heavy in morning ...they'll be regular updates for the next few days....

TE Roof Rack Installed

Spent the morning bathing the 4R, followed by swapping the chrome roof rack for the TE rack. (thanks Jeff!) I like it.

First hand wash of the season/since buying it a month ago. Beautiful day. Unfortunately I discovered a small paint chip on the front of the hood above the Toyota emblem . Off to the dealership tomorrow get a paint stick.

Took a break between studying and decide to plasti dip the rear emblem.
Taped everything off, make sure to tape the whole back side of the car, i learned the hard way.
