What wheels are those? That's one of the nicer sets that compliments the chrome accents of the SR5/LE.

I'll have them on this weekend. Mine were powder-coated so I just have to bolt them up.

Fabbed the brackets for the ARB awning and HiLift....poured all day....

Back to the best tires I have run on my truck, this time in 285. Storage time for the DuraTracs until next winter.
Those look great. How did they balance? I've heard that the MTR w/ Kevlar can be tricky to balance. Thoughts?

A W E S O M E. I have a particular guy at DT I have worked with for a few years. In fact, he recently moved to a new location further away but I still go see him. I dropped off my Konigs in the morning and said "take your time and get these perfect". Man, the ride is awesome. No steering wheel vibration whatsoever at 80. It looks like 3 of the 4 tires required only a few ounces of weight. One tire has maybe 6 or 7. I'm super pleased.
I previously ran the 275 MT/R which is an E range, and those were fine too. IMO, if you have any vibration in the steering wheel, something has to be off. My sales guy will also replace or order a different tire if he feels he cannot get it balanced properly with a reasonable amount of weight.

Phase II of the brackets..fyi...still f'in pouring...
Anyhoo..I picked up some couplers and stop collars, and welded up a "thingamajammi" to hold the Hi Lift on top of the awning bracket...so that the the only thing sticking up is about 1" of thread (hopefully less to get hung up on in the mall parking garage). The actual part that screws on and holds the jack, is about another 3"...and I can add that as needed. I have nice aluminum 4 blade knobs to hold the jack down, and I'll cut some nice rubber gasket material to soften up the ride.
