Painted the center caps with mo fo Pasti-dip...
Went to Autozone...they don't have it...
Went to NAPA.....they don't have it
Went to Advance Auto......THEY DON'T HAVE THE DAMN STUFF EITHER!!
I stole this from somebody else on here that had it...thanks!!!

Lowe's should have it and ACE Hardware if you have one of those. Home Depot and Lowe's sell it for about $6 a can around here, but the hardware store sells it for $8 a can....

As for me -- my Monday playtime in the sand really got my TE dirtier than I thought. Sand and sand dust in and all over the rig. Nasty business.

The main reason I got it was to protect my hoods paint from the heat from the engine. It is a super easy install, just expensive (I paid $189 for the insulation and $10 for the clips)
I am not sure if it will work for TEs though because of the hood scoop. Even if a hole was cut in the insulation for the scoop, I think air may still flow between the hood and insulation....
Here are the parts you need:
Insulator, Hood
53341-35160
Clip, Hood Insulator (10)
90467-A0003
Then all you do is slide the 2 tabs of the insulation into the rear of the hood, align the holes, and push in the 10 clips. Takes about 2 min... TEs may be better off just using dynomat.

I was pretty sure, but maybe after a certian model year they stopped being standard on SR5s and Trails...I know none of the 2013 SR5s and Trails I have seen had it.

I understand the hood scoop on the TE is ornamental and not a true hood scoop in the traditional sense. While I'll agree that some air will likely (naturally) flow into the engine compartment via the TE's scoop, I'm not sure if it will be enough to affect the insulation mounting or performance.
