Got picked up by the wife from a 1 year trip to the sandbox! Deployment complete.

Ripped the chipped plastidip off my chrome grill wing and sprayed it with Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating. I really like the textured finish.

We'll see how this holds up now!

Lauren and I drove up the Mt Washington Auto Road.

My daughter and I just got back from a little exploring of some park services dirt/gravel roads within about 30 miles from my house. Found at least 10 miles worth of scenic back country roads to drive on. No real need for 4wd, but you can engage the system and have a pleasant drive. I think I found a new favorite Sunday afternoon drive!

Installed Bud's sliders today. I had them powdercoated a textured black and I really like how they turned out, closely resembling the texturing on the stock plastic trim.

It's really not a question of how long, more like until some ******* in a dumptruck pulls in front of you and drops bouncing gravel lovedrops all over the road at 50 mph.

Oh just saw this...I messed up both my front bumper and my rear bumper in Moab this spring. So, I figured if I was gonna spend a bunch of dough fixing that, I might as well do the conversion.

Thanks.. will do... the vertical surfaces are pretty well clean. the hood has speckles on it (although feels smooth), so I may simply take the polisher to that.

My main issue is going to be the roof. I really wish that Gobi bolted the mesh on instead of welding.. at least that way you don't have to take the whole rack, lights, etc off. I understand the whole structural rigidity deal, but it would have been nice in this case!

I'll give the Goo-Gone a whirl on a Swiffer wet pad and see how that works. Yippee for the Swiffer-mod!

Isopropyl Alcohol also works like a champ on tree sap.
