I feel your painI have seen this thread over at the 3rd gen & 4th gen forums on here and thought it was a cool idea.
So let me be the first:
Took the runner & the kids to Home Depot to load up with some do-it-yourself closet systems.

Completed my 20k mile service at Toyota of Murfreesboro.
I made the appointment online. Waiting room was packed. I was in and out within about 40 minutes tops, possibly less. My wheel alignment remained perfect, all factory service was completed and a multi-point inspection was performed. I received copies of both. My tires were rotated and inflated to the proper temp, 2-4 pounds low due to recent temperature drops. The lug nuts are tightened to 83 ft-lbs. The worst part was sitting through the price is right, what a turd that show has become.
They did not drop or scratch my wheels. No greasy fingerprints. They did not attempt to sell me glorified air or do anything moronic such as overfilling my KDSS fluid. My truck was not dropped from the rack or set on fire. The oil level is perfect, the oil is obviously new and the cap is tight. No oil was spilled and my skid plates were not installed backwards.
No trail editions or land cruisers on the lot.
Not all dealers are bad, really happy with this service department. The technicians and service advisers all appear to be happy and act professionally. I see lots of the same faces every time I am there.

Did they reset all of the maintenance reminders on the computers or just slap a sticker in the window? This is the one thing that really irritated me at my last service. Car's have had built in reminder systems for years now, yet they still just use a damn sticker in the window. If I don't reset it right as I leave the dealership then it's a complete PITA to calculate everything and reset all the reminders for non normal increments. My 15K is coming up in a few hundred miles. I'm really gonna pick the service guy's brain on this when I go in. Other than that, I was pleased at my 10K service. Car wash was sloppy but can't complain when it's free.

Are you talking about the service reminder above the steering wheel or you asking about the one on the Entune system display.
I'm pretty sure they are only suppose to reset the one that displays above your steering wheel, and if they do anything more, that would be just a courteous to you.
I think those are for the owner to set on the Entune system.
I've had my tech to tell me to not get the wash at the dealership because of how it will definately scratch the vehicle.
I found this out before he infomed me of this sadly!
Only hand washes for mine!
How does one reset the computer maintenance reminders?
