Went hunting this morning and ended up having to use 4wd for the first time to be able to get out a nasty muddy trench while leaving. Naturally I cleaned it up after and went ahead and finally removed the running boards for good measure.

Repainted rear emblem. Couldn't take the flaky paint anymore and used black on all of it. Its not dry yet so no installed/finished pictures. Oh ya... and drove up to Big Bear on Monday. Good day in the snow.

Gave the Warthog some much needed TLC after several offroad trips and especially Big Bear. Got especially intimate with the underside...

* Cleaned inside, outside and underside.
* Collected enough sand and rocks from the skids to start my own little desert.
* Painted over all scrapes on armor and frame
* Removed gas tank skid and pounded out all the dents, reinstalled.
* Did a little scratch removal (Ongoing job!)
* Siliconed the bushings.

It was rustoleum metal, the cap was copper color. I still have a can left at work, I'll take a picture for you on Monday, what wheels do you have ? I'm hoping it'll match the sr8 bronze wheels once I get them

So I had a shorty antenna , got snapped off , couldn't get it out , re-threaded & replaced with the stubby IDK beats a hole I guess ? Reception seems ok ! Also debadged the sr5 off , still see the outline a little desert sun is tough on that stuff ! :artist2:
