Got a set of SCS SR8 Wheels, they are by far the best looking rim I have ever owned,

How would you get water from the inside of the simulated bead lock? Would it just puddle in there when washing? Great looking wheels.

Haha That is a Factor55 Flatlink custom color from Cruiserheads (or at least they are the only ones that I know of that sell those different colors yellow/green/orange). I got a Hitchlink from them in yellow too. Bought both separately from their eBay store with free shipping on each. They shipped them quick too.

Faux TRD Pro? Those badges do look good. Probably would of left off "Pro" and only used "TRD" personally, just cause it is not.

Thanks for your reply. The only 18 tpi threads I can find referenced anywhere are 5/16 NC, 9/16 NF, and 5/8 NF. I assume you tapped it 5/16 NC - 9/16 NF and 5/8 NF being sort of on the big side. Is this a good assumption? Anyone have any ideas about the front, rear, and bottom surfaces? And does it feel like regular old soft aluminum or more like a hard alloy of some sort?

I tapped it 5/16 NC. It was large, I actually had to drill out the lightbar mounts to fit the bolt through - which wasn't a big deal. The crash bar aluminum did feel soft. All said and done, I have no worries of it not holding. I yanked on the bolt mounts pretty good and they felt quite sturdy.

This is temporary anyway. I'll be firing up my stick welder soon to build a custom bumper, so I'll need to relocate the lightbar as it'll be blocked by the winch.

I know it is not, but I could not get a 4Runner without getting a 3rd row. Therefore, I am just about done adding everything I can to make it a Pro, minus the seat overlays, as I like the 2-tone Softex. Other than that, after badging, grill, shift knob, hood, wheels and skids, I will have a TRD Pro with a 3rd Row and sunroof. The suspension is moot as it would have been switched out regardless (and has). Roof rack will take care of the rail endcap color. To me, some of the features of a Premium are more appealing to have, but I promise to do the 4Runner community proud with the build.
