Rear Window Washers Wiper
Driving through the Columbia Gorge in the rain, my rear wiper and washer stopped working. I stopped at the Toyota dealer in Hood River to check it for a blown fuse. The service tech knew right away the problem. I had bumped the rear window control switch and caused the system to go into fail safe. I had never experienced this before and am passing this on, should you have the same problem. Once the window was closed, all the way up, everything worked as normal :biggrin2:

Messed around with the stereo system a little more today. Added the EQL and tidied up some wires. This is temporary until I am able to build a new box this Spring.
Bike still fits!
Very nice! You reminded me again I need to get something made up like you did for my bike.

Making Some Room!
Cleaned up the garage today, took two loads to goodwill so I could make room for this guy. Now I have a place to do some mods out of the cold weather and rain!!!

Performed my 30k Mile Maintenance in the comfort of my own Garage!
Cost:
-$66 for Toyota 0w-20 & Filter
-$30 For Engine Air Filter
-$20 For Cabin Filter
Getting it done for less then $120, I don't know why anyone wouldn't do it themselves!
I even pretended to do the Multi-Point Inspection, just like the dealer would!
-Transfer Case Fluid still looks new. (Original Fill)
-Front & Rear Diff Fluid look new (Replaced at 15K with Amisoil SVG 75w-90)
-Greased Driveshafts (Spiders w/Amsoil Synthetic NGLI#2 Grease & Slide Yoks with Amsoil Synthetic Polymeric Off-Road Grease, NLGI #2 (5% Moly))
-Stock Tires at 4/32" (Can wait to swap these out for some real tires!)
All other fluids looking good! The only problem I did see is the Engine Air Filter's Gasket was creased a little, and not fully sealed, so I am glad I caught that and replaced it with a new one!

ound:as for the oil change its 54.95 plus tax at the dealer and i dont have to get my hands dirty and the air filter spring another say $30 and get a k&n it will last you longer.

But then you don’t get the 1st hand experience of being under your truck and visually putting eyes/hands on everything etc. Priceless in my book but aging bones & back may one day say differently.
Yeah i get where ur coming from i would do it too but it came with some free oil changes so didnt want them to go to waste. but also i saw the thread on how to do the oil change and i was like man that 2-3 hrs isnt worth it right now.

I would pay twice that price if I knew the work was being done correctly and the fluids were the real deal. Until then there's no better feeling than doing it myself.
K&N filters don't filter.

So many good ideas here. I went an ordered my TKO wheels with Nitto Terra Grappler G2s. Should have them installed in the next two or three days and I'll post pics. Can't wait to do more!
