Your TRD wheel is only 7 in wide? That's odd. You'll need at least 7.5 in for 285/70/17. Mine 285 Nitto's fine, no issues.

I ordered those too for my 15 trail, and they were too small. Didn't cover the lens all the way past the bezel and left an ugly gap. I ended up ordering a 12" x 6" sheet of the same stuff, applied and trimmed. It now covers the whole lens.
