What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Hubby bought me a new grill for my birthday 2 weeks ago. Finally got it on today. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I only did the upper because the bumper is going away eventually.

That's where I got mine...HOWEVER....

For some weird reason, they won't send you certain words, like trademarked names. They won't send you "TRAIL" either.

The first sets I ordered never got to me. I ordered using friend's addresses too and still nothing. I had to order "SIDRAT" and they came. Oh, and since I had used up my free allotment not getting the lettering, I had to make up apartments to go in my house. Apartment A, B etc. That's the trick to getting more than 2 per address.

I'm kind of glad I had to re arrange the lettering. Being an old graphic artist that cut his teeth in the mechanical paste up days of light tables and T squares, if the kerning wasn't right it would have bugged me.

I saw a blue Camry with Tardis on it, wondering if they had to do the same. Wish they had numbers, I had to get KNine
 
So you will have to. I rub during flex and either need to do the bmc,which I won't do, so my second option is to use spacers and trim some plastic and hammer my pinch weld back 1/2". The BMC just has me so worried lol. ..but can't wait to see it in person!

Did some lighting upgrades, HIDs and fogs. Lexus IS 250 projectors, Osram 5500 bulbs, STI clear lenses, and Morimoto ballasts. Fogs are the Morimoto XBs, no trimming needed to mount them. The light above the cutoff isn't glare, it's because of the projectors themselves and the lenses, it doesn't blind oncoming drivers, and it's normal from what I've read (Had my friend drive past me a few times in his Corvette to see if there were any issues with glare or being blinded). I went with the IS 250 projectors because they use side mounted bulbs like the T4R. Only fabrication was inside the headlight housing itself. No sheet metal cutting for the rear mounted projectors and I can change the bulbs without removing the bumper.

Installed TRD Shift Knob

Finally received my TRD shift knob. This is a great addition if you have older TE model and want to upgrade that big clumsy shift knob. No modifications to this one needed.

I meant to pull over for this shot at exactly 11,000 miles, but I took my wife out for her birthday today and was 'Happily' distracted! :kiss:
