Diff breather mod will also be at the same time. And dual battery and air compressor. I'm thinking I may hold off on the armor plates till april. Plus I can install those myself.

As I said, I'll order the parts as they become available, but do all the work in one go or so.

I'd be doing swing out for the express purpose of being able to mount a fullsize 33" spare tire.

I'm a little concerned about losing the rear view camera. So that may become a new project, i.e to buy a second OEM camera, and wire it into the system.

I also heard from CBI that they have found the swing out table doesn't play too nicely with the Gobi Ladder, so I may just avoid the table, and get a single jerry can holder.

[MENTION=54404]jbstrd[/MENTION] thanks, I'm not sure who will do the install. I may be ordering via 99 West Trailers, and having them do the install. Does everything lock up nice and tight on your rear bumper? I just don't want to cut the bumper off and have any thing that wiggles around when off road.

For me, losing the camera was not a big deal. I rarely used it other than a quick glance to see what was directly behind the vehicle. Otherwise, I always use my side mirrors and look over my shoulder to back. If you have to keep it, many have moved the camera or purchased a new one to mount elsewhere.

I know several have kept the Gobi Ladder with the table, but it is a close fit. Sounds like it is nothing a little felt can't fix to keep it from scratching the ladder.

Everything on the bumper is super tight on the CBI. I have re-torqued the bolts a couple of times just to make sure everything stays secure. As far as the factory bumper, the sides move a little bit more after cutting them. Once in a while when you are flexing alot off road, you have to snap the factory bumper pieces back onto their mounts. This is to be expected though since the CBI bumper mounts to the frame and the factory bumper is connected to the body. But, I will never complain about body on frame.

Installed WKOR Sliders, Magnaflow Exhaust, and Gave the 4R a bath

Made my first couple mods to my T4R this weekend:

Yesterday, I drove out to Apple Valley to pick up my White Knuckle Offroad Sliders from John. I couldn't be happier with the quality and look of them! I busted my ass the rest of the afternoon installing them (would have been much easier with another set of hands). But after 3hrs of sweating and cursing, they look awesome and are rock solid!

TODAY:
My Magnaflow 22" muffler (Part#12586) arrived in the mail so i had my local shop install it... really LOVE the sound, not too loud but definitely noticeable when you step on the gas. Sounds perfect IMO, and does not drone once up to speed.



Also gave my car a bath, and found a good use for the DIN insert that I had laying around from my Scoshe dash kit (didn't need it since i have a double din unit)... It fits the center console like a glove, just used some double-sided sticky pads to secure to the back of the center console.

Good chance it can trash your racks. 80+ lbs bouncing around up there, I personally wouldn't do it on factory crossbars and a yakima.

Just saying check it frequently. I speak from experience.

I think he meant to be careful when you wheel with that up there. It'll change your center of gravity and you'll be more likely to roll over depending on what type of hills/rocks you climb.
