Went exploring around some small New Mexico lakes. Pretty dried up, but nice scenery none the less.

Nice, I accidentally did that drive a few weeks ago, the entire length of rampart, don't ask... But the views were great.
Nice bike I'm jealous. Looking at a plated 1999 here.
Watching a guy blow something in his coolant system on a ride the other day helped firm up my satisfaction with deciding on classic air cooled.
He limped his home and got out the 400ex quad. Engine sure looked familiar.

Drove Old Flowers road west of Ft Collins. First trip for runner. A couple of stream crossings and steep grades. The road goes through the High Park fire burn area from 2012. The fire opened up the views a little.
It is a good trail to check out the different controls and figure out the four wheel drive controls on the SR5. Knob vs lever.

We did the entire length as well though we took Mt. Herman Road back home. Lots of smaller 4X4 roads off of Mt. Herman which makes that drive a ton of fun. Too many Subaru's and such on these trails yesterday with drivers who have no clue how to yield/get over on narrow trails. Kinda funny to see the expressions and overall white knuckles though.

Cross country trip
Hey guys I'm on a cross country trip .. Wave or flash some lights at me if you see me ... We've been to 15 states so far coming from fort drum NY ... I've got about 3 weeks left of vacation and will be heading to Yellowstone, grand Teton, hopefully glacier and head down towards Colorado, Utah, back to Nevada and to our final destination of fort Irwin Cali ....

I just came home (last week) from a seven month deployment. Had a new bumper waiting for me thanks to Luke at 4x4Labs. Took some maneuvering and tweeking to get the bumper on. These picks are from the install and the resulting trail run and fly fishing trips. Love the bumper and Still got a little clean up to do. Had a blast running around the hills outside of Boise.

Decided to do some manual labor on Labor Day...plasti-dipped my rear emblem and "4Runner" lettering, and did the rear-diff breather mod in between coats. (thanks [MENTION=103267]Saker[/MENTION] for the excellent writeup, sourced most of the parts on Ebay for less than $50)

285s, lift eventually, have to make sure it has no pressing mechanical needs, and much of the work initially will be restorative.
It's a 2002 with nav, leather, headed seats, sunroof. Only 130k miles and was a well loved southern truck.
