Added another A/C outlet to the passenger side rear wheelwell. (I have a 1000W inverter under the driver's seat with an A/C outlet mounted on the driver's wheelwell already.)

I just came home (last week) from a seven month deployment. Had a new bumper waiting for me thanks to Luke at 4x4Labs. Took some maneuvering and tweeking to get the bumper on. These picks are from the install and the resulting trail run and fly fishing trips. Love the bumper and Still got a little clean up to do. Had a blast running around the hills outside of Boise.

285s, lift eventually, have to make sure it has no pressing mechanical needs, and much of the work initially will be restorative.

It's a 2002 with nav, leather, headed seats, sunroof. Only 130k miles and was a well loved southern truck.

Got my new 4runner last weekend. Took it on a trip to Tahoe this weekend with my wife and kids. So today I washed it up and drove as many errands as I could in it. I get new nfab nerd bars for it tomorrow. Can't wait.

Not really today, but the wife and I drove up to Cherokee to see my parents who were camping up there. Averaged 17.3mpg according to the system and 17.9 according to my Fuelly app. At a minimum, that's 2 mpg better than my old truck even with the lift, tires and roof rack.

Safe to say we really don't touch my wife's car for errands or trips anymore.

Used my remote start to scare away a dumpster diving bear at around 3:30am this morning. It was a big @$$ bear too... Came back later and I used a flashlight to scare it again... Big mess this morning.

When a dumpster has a bear bar on it, friendly reminder to use it.

I saw your caravan (and your white T4R) coming back out on Sunday turning onto 395/Big Pine...was coming back from Mammoth after a quick turnaround trip. Quite a few folks were with you!!

I hit 100K @ Tom's Place. Damn - no more warranty.

Here you go my man ... It's the old M416 trailer ... All in original condition except the lights to pass inspection .... Painted red and spray painted wheels black ... Black tarp off the internet with red ratchet straps to match color ... Tried to paint it inferno but it is super expensive to get it done at a shop with that kind of paint .......

KVA, Saw your rig heading south on 395 as we were pulling out, I mentioned to my passengers that there was a sweet 4 runner going by. We had a 10 vehicles in that group, were fueling up before we went up Sugarloaf trail. If you haven't done the trail you might consider it, but don't go alone as there is one spot where it is tight with a pretty good drop off, so if you started to get over towards the drop off you would need winch support to get back on the trail.

A quick search says 500-600 pounds empty. It's lighter than I would have expected.

I looked at your member photos, 3 kidos plus 2 adults in that tent sounds like a tight squeeze!

How did your 4.56 gears like the highway? Been thinking about it...or take over my Wife's GX and restart with that V8.

The trail heads west out of Big Pine, goes up into the Sierra. You can find it on maps. It tops out at 10,200 feet just to the North East of Surgarloaf. That is on the edge of Coyote flats, you can follow that north and eventually down to Bishop on Coyote Valley Road. The 4.56 gears are fine on the highway with my 33' BFGs, I can go 80 mph without a problem. We were just saying on this trip that the 4.56s were one of the best mods we have done. You can't beat it in low 1 going down, and low 2 is good for rough uphill normally. In retrospect I might have done the 4.88, as I am looking for low speed and happy if I can cruise at 75 on the highway.
