Mine hits and leaves the plate sticking up somewhat....which is my exuse to run with it off for a while. Now I just need to patch those empty holes from the factory plate mount.

Go to your local hardware store, buy some spacers, either steel or aluminum, about a quarter inch should do, apply spray paint. Done.

Came out pretty nice, subtle. I sorta copied what DEFCONBRIX does on his Tacoma:

Installed OPOR sliders and swapped around some headlight bulbs last weekend. Went to H9 in the low beams and 9011 in the high beams. Still have to retrofit the OEM H11 low beam bulbs into the fogs.

Maybe I'll overcome laziness and take some pics sometime soon.

Got three of these little motion sensor lights off amazon the other day. I got sick of not being able to see the deepest part of the trunk space while the hatch is open. This is even with the super bright led bulbs changed out for everything in the car.

These lights take three aaa batteries And stays on for 15 seconds after it stops sensing motion. I used double sided tape to put on hook sided Velcro so it can be easily pulled off if I need a quick light out of the truck. So far this thing works wonders. I can actually see everything in the trunk now once the hatch is opened. I will do a better photo at night from the back tonight. Notice the small chunk of gaffers tape on half of the motion sensor? That is so it won't turn on every time someone moves in the back seat.

Got some 275/70r17 BFG KO2s installed. Had a hard time deciding between the 275s and the stock 265s.

Side by side the 275s won me over, but I was hesitant on the E rating and 9 pound weight penalty over the 265s. Still not convinced I made the right move.

I did not exactly do anything to my 4runner but I worked on a bracket design for mounting a little air compressor I picked. I am planning on screwing the bracket to the inside of the engine compartment, just behind the air intake. There are three screw holes that I can use. I am pretty sure this will work but would love any feed back to my design. I have a friend that is going fab it up for me.
