I went ahead and got a decent camera (Nikon L840) because I couldn't pass up the deal at work...(though I'm sure someone will tell me it's a hunk o junk).

I'm still kickin' the AA batts though- couldn't let that go.

To celebrate I tried to take some non-Antmanish pics of the aftermath of our battle with the rocks at The Cove!

Paint or dip? I like the look of the black valances, thanks for the mockup as it confirms what I was thinking. I was thinking of having them wrapped, not sure cost on painting/maybe I wouldn't like it after a year or so, don't want to deal with plastidip.

If you are on the fence about it, I would definitely plasti dip to see if you like it. Just be sure to put 4-5 good coats on it so it peels off easily if you dont like it.

My passenger rear bumper cover looks almost identical to the rash you have. Must have been the same rock! At least I didn't fall into the same tree!:jump:

I picked up a little trail "rash" at the cove myself. I admire it about every other day. Headed to Moab tomorrow, we will see what happens, not going to specifically off-road but it usually happens anyway. :boink:

It has been over 2 months since I have been able to get off-road. It was starting to bug me. We moved from SoCal to Salem, Oregon last month and that kept us too *&^% busy. Finally made it today, went into the Cascade Mountains near Detroit Lake for a short day trip. The first half was great, the second half was just another rough road. I still liked it. My wife not so much.
