4Runner Friday!!!

After driving the hooptie all week, brought the 4Runner to work instead! I love 4Runner Fridays.

Put new Cooper ATWs in 265/70/17E on my 2013 SR5 two weeks ago.

Ordered a set of RUD 4x4 chains that should be delivered today.

Ordered a Smittybilt receiver shackle, hitch pin, 30'x3" 30,000 recovery strap, an extra shackle, and a jump box/USB charger. Should be here on Monday.

We better finally have a decent winter out here again...

Spidertrax going on this weekend, Toytec 2' kit ordered and in route. If the weather cooperates this weekend, I will try to de-badge the TRD Pro off and take the running boards off. The only thing those things are good for is getting my pants dirty when I get in or out of the rig...:mmph:

Exactly. I don't rock crawl, nor do I need anything to step on to get into my rig. They are just in the way. I keep mine naked.

Well the dumb thing to me is if you do actually step up on it, you then have to freaking bend over to get in. :gun4: What part of WV are you in? I am about 15 min from Charlestown.

I don't do any off-roading (turning from the road to my driveway doesn't count as off-roading :heh: ) and actually I found running boards useful when getting out of the truck. Even stock T4R sits so high that my legs are to short to reach the ground and I would have to jump out if I didn't have this step. I don't use running boards while getting in - somehow it is easier for me to jump in than out.

Most of my family lives in Logan, love that area it feels like home to me even though I have lived in Va my whole life.

Yea, I am the opposite, long legs to the point I wish the seat would go back further. Funny thing there is I am only 5'11. The only good thing the running boards do for me is when I am washing the roof, lol.

Took the boat out today since it's been stuck in the garage for about 3 weeks (the horror!!!), and caught this hog...







Afterwards, [MENTION=112177]4RnR Grl[/MENTION] stopped by so we could do the rear diff mod on her truck. It was kind of weird though.

As I was feeding the line up to her from under the 4runner she said she had about 13" of hose in her hands...I was like- yeah I got about 13" of hose down here too.

Something tells me she thinks I was lying about that...:lie:

Sprayed the underside of of my 2016 SR5 with Fluid Film. Wanted to get this on there before they start to salt the roads around here. Took down the spare tire and sprayed the rim and above before putting the tire back in place. Used 3 whole cans. Need one more can for the internal sections of the frame. Hopefully this stuff will keep the corrosion underneath to a minimum.
