Picked my 2016 LE friday, today put in my weathertech matts, LED interior package and LED reverse lights from Precision LED.
Monday I'm installing a iDatastart HC2 remote start with Drone Smartphone add on.

The radio comes out in about a week or so. I'm waiting on a Maestro RR module with beta test TO2 firmware and will have a Kenwood DDX-9702s with Apple Carplay.

4 months from now? I order mine last week and they said my bilsteins would ship last Wednesday but they didn't. Then they told me today that the bilsteins are on stock delay. I really hope that doesn't mean 4 months.

What I meant was. I ordered mine back at the end of August and they just came in. A few random pairs came into Total Automotive Performance last week. So if you purchased a set from them last week you were lucky. Originally, Bilstein had said that they wouldn't be available again until January or February 2016

Got it. Yeah they said they were in Stock when I bought them and now they are saying the are on stock delay. Not sure what that means. Thanks for the reply. Your truck looks awesome by the way.

any words of wisdom for removal of the front seats? tried to get my new seat covers (from precision fit) installed yesterday and I just cant seem to get the bottom piece in right, there isn't enough room to get my arms underneath to arrange all of the straps. i already sliced up two fingers groping around blindly....would like to prevent any further bloodshed!

yup. searched everywhere and couldn't find anything specific to 5th gen front seats. plenty about removing the rear seats.

mostly afraid of setting off the airbags. found one post here that said to disconnect the battery before messing with the air bag harnesses but found conflicting times on how long to wait....grrrr....

Disconnect the battery and then unscrew the four bolts that hold the seat down. By the time you are finished with that it should be fine to unplug the three plugs under the seat. I removed my seats this weekend and reinstalled them without issue using this method. I believe the repair manual for 5th gen said one minute was needed before unplugging the abs sensor after disconnecting the battery. You can find the repair manual in a sticky for the 5th gen.

Added a SSS Hybrid bumper Saturday. Took some time to make it right but everything fit perfectly... Most time was making a bracket for the winch controller.

Happy with the way it turned out. Next on to the Gobi Rack that should FINALLY arrive Monday or Tuesday.

Big Dayhike

Washed and waxed the whole truck on Friday. Used Mother's Carnauba Wax and microfiber cloths for the first time. Very good products.
Drove to the Eaton Canyon trailhead and hiked to Henninger Flats and on up to Idlehour Campground, then down canyon and up the side of the canyon walls to an old road called The Parking Lot. Back out Henninger Flats to Eaton Canyon. Over 9 miles and 2400 feet of elevation gain with a 35 pound pack. Good workout and great views overlooking Pasadena and Los Angeles with Catalina Island beyond.

[MENTION=68685]Ducmonsta[/MENTION] and I did mine (I have Wet Okoles) and we didn't disconnect the battery if I remember correctly and didn't have any issues. Just slide the covers off the bolts and the base of the seats, unbolt, unplug and remove. makes life way, WAY easier to work on them.

Also added the blacked out lettering from NoxLux. Pretty expensive for what it is. I really went back and forth on painting what I have vs this kit. Ultimately, I thought the time savings was a benefit. They have a nice product. I'm a bit skeptical about the long life of these, I feel they may not last. But we'll see.
