I'm actually just moved to Hollywood from California and was wondering the same thing. I think parts of Big Cypress (about an hour west) have off-road designated areas, but you need to take an online course, get your vehicle inspected and pay for an annual pass to use their trails.

Today I washed the 4Runner only to have the wonderful, salty south Florida air rain on it an hour later while picking up the kids from school.

I lived most of my life in South Florida, and found a few spots to wheel the Tacoma I had at the time.

Big Cypress: I had a permit, and would go with a couple FJ buddies. It is a solid 2 hour drive to the trail head- you have to drive most of the way across the Alley, then south, then north again on a dirt road for several miles. It's a hike, and best done during the driest possible weeks.

Bonita Springs: the was a very large area with trails at the east end of Bonita Springs Rd. Not sure if the land has been developed yet or not.

Ocala area: There is a legal off-road park called Ocala Hard Rock, as well as some trials.
There is also some private property across from the "Bubba Raceway Park" on 25A. Some nice steep climbs and stuff there(used to be a quarry I think).
Ocala National Forrest is also an option, but not much technical stuff there, just miles of sandy fire roads.

Oregon - Mt Hood & Government Camp. Finally found some real snow for my TE and Toyos. Wife did not like it when son tried a donut. Nannies stopped most of it. We were not allowed to try again.

Always wondered why the '15s have color-matching handles..
I decided against dip, and went the extra mile to make it legit. I ordered '13 Trail Edition door handles/bezels. Install was easy, just time consuming. More info in build thread.

Kissin' cousins. The Tacoma built for SEMA by ARB, which by the way looks great in person. That color matched bumper is sweet. Snorkel wasn't as easy of an install because of lack of documentation by Safari. But the results look great!

Noticed the tires looked a little low along with my gradual mpg loss over last few hundred miles. Put about 7psi back in each tire, got 2mpg back.

Also kicked over 38,000 mi.

Picked up black 2016 trail edition on January 2,2016
Husky liners came in January 4
January 6 I had full bumper, a pillars, headlights/fogs, 24 inch of the hood, matched fenders, mirrors, door cups 3m'd

I priced out TRD pro rims and looking at getting some A/T tires. Maybe BFG KO2s. Seems popular.

The boss is already unhappy with how much I've spent so far. Good thing she wants a roof rack and roof tent

Debating if I want the front windows tinted.

Sprayed down the frame with fluid film, but ran out with about 25% left. Still need to get inside the rails. Any tips on getting the film on the top section of the frame?
