Finished a few days having fun in the snow in central Oregon. One last shot this morning. I'm sure we were more comfortable than the guy next to me but it would be fun to watch him run some deep snow.

Now that's what I am talking about! Love the white letter look on the BFG AT KO2's. If they can put them on sports cars, why not on the 4Runner! Is that the stock height, or do you have a small lift?

Picked up some BFG AT KO2's, then went straight to Fiesta Island in San Diego for our dogs to play and try out the traction control stuff/tires.

Thanks! Stock height, no real plans to mod this one.....yeah. Didn't even clean off the blue plastic/protective layer on the letters yet.

Great photo for a first post, I tried to find deep snow a few days ago but maybe not that much. We have 4Runners, not snow plows or snow mobiles.

Johnson Valley awesome. Have you done Bullfrog trail yet? I did last year and it was about as much as I could handle with 33" AT tires and stock rear bumper.

Jeep, yes, 4runner, no. The Bullfrog Trail has some very difficult obstacles which require minimum 33” tires, lift, steel bumpers and sliders, and expect damage. Hats off to you for doing that in your rig. I was around that area a couple weeks ago and did Cakewalk II, which is about the limits of my stock suspension and tires. I don’t rock crawl for the sake of rock crawling. I like travelling overland, climbing ridges, peaks, navigating to rock, mineral, Indian petroglyph sites, collecting geo data for my ArcGIS maps, etc. Such a vast area of varying terrain, and the views are spectacular. Lots of places to get stuck, but that’s part of the fun and challenge.

Bear Camp Snow Run

Went up off the 138 Highway, east of Interstate 5, west of Lancaster, off Lake Hughes Road To Sawmill Campground. Bear Camp was closed, as was the old highway 99 route west of Bear Mountain. T4R did great in 4Lo and locked diff part of the way with stock, OEM tires.

Hit up the Washington coast for some razor clam digging. Sand, gunk, and saltwater everywhere so took it to Brown Bear for a car wash before today's game.

Also, what size of tires did you get? How is it different from the factory tires? I know you just got them, but I'm sure you could probably feel a difference. I am thinking of going with a C-Rated K02's.

We brought the pup out to play in the snow, and ran a short trail too. 4L and we had a blast getting away from the rest of the Las Vegas Valley peeps that decided today was a good day to go get stuck in the snow!

Packed up a box of parts, brackets, bits and pieces, and preparing to drop the 4Runner off tomorrow to have it's face swapped and other work done.
