Installed a 3d Printed Magnetic Phone Mount.
Put an existing iPhone mount together with a wedge shape that fits the top of the dash in my 4runner.
Installed the iPhone mount over the dash clock since I don't need it and the SR5 does not display anything else in that slot.
The iPhone dock mounts magnetically using two powerful neodymium magnets. This allows me to remove the dock and print another as I change phone technology.
I usually swap my phone out every six months. Apple in the fall and Android in the spring.
The magnets on the console hold the phone dock in place.
Cable clips along the side help with cable routing.

I had mine in for service when they found it. It was bad enough that initially they couldn't tell where it was coming from.

I wiped it all off, but now it's back so it's definitely leaking.

Not necessarily 'today' but over the last couple of days:
Installed my new Katzkin leather interior and heated seats. I had cloth seats in my base Trail. Now my goal of having a Trail premium without the sunroof is basically complete. ; )
As you can see, I picked out some custom colors - black 'wrap', smoke perforated inserts, and red contrast stitching. I think it looks quite OEM, which is what I was going for. You can see in a few of the pictures the comparison between the factory black softex and red stitched center console and the new leather seats.
I think it's a good match.

Do the install yourself? I have been thinking about this lately. Are Katzkin seats real leather or synthetic, or a mix?
