I have seen people lay a ladder against the side of the truck and then push the tent up to the top. Some will use PVC pipes on top to help it slide over to the side to help prevent scratching up the rack.

We used the 4R to transport firearms and ammo Saturday and Sunday, to a basic pistol class. 16 students, mostly beginners, received one on one from NRA instructors. Everyone did well, was safe and had fun. As usual, the women shot as well as the men and passed the classroom portion with ease. Also, we had one 12 year old, accompanied by her mom, who shot better than everyone. Must have been her line coach:lie:.

First week of ownership and first bit of mild off roading. Took her up an old deactivated FSR. Mix of snow/slush and mud and she handled it amazingly well. The full time 4wd does a great job, didn't even need to lock the center diff. Really impressed me for the conditions and factory tires.

Also picked up a TRD exhaust tip that's supposed to give me an extra 50hp. :shrug:
