Here's a close up... And I couldn't be more happy with opting to powder coat the trail rims... I paid $100 per wheel, and it was worth every penny. I actually painted the center caps myself with color matching paint, they didn't come out as perfect as the powder coat! Haha

Just gettin' started

Yes I'm new to 4Runners. I sold my F150 and left hundreds of posts behind on the F150 forum.
Went through all the maintenance items today from axle fluids, transfer case fluids and transmission fluid. I did learn from the local Autozone store that Dexron VI is an acceptable replacement for the Toyota WS fluid. The bottles of STP Dexron VI state this on their label. I confirmed this with a transmission shop that is owned by a friend of my Dads who said they use it in all the imports they rebuild.
I also e-mailed Toytec about lifts today.
More to come if I can convince the Wife that the 4Runner needs "stuff"

Is that sway bar connector contacting your lower link?

Might look like that in the picture but no. It really just brings the sway bar back to level like factory after the lift. I feel like it gave me additional flex for sure.

First mod, stock steps had to go so I got some nfab steps.

Tires mounted and alignment complete. Stuffed with 285/70-17 with BFG KO2s on Bilstein 6112/5160 combo. Loving the look, little rubbing in the front but should be easy enough to fix with a heat gun. Think I might even be able to keep the mudflaps. [emoji41]

I put my summer tires back on (god those things can't wear out fast enough) put the sliders on. I think since my last update I had the exhaust welded with a better looking welded tip. Ordered a baja rack and waiting on some free time for the hidden winch to go on! Oh and a factor 55 recovery point at the rear.
