Do the C4s make a good step for a lady in heels? My wife has reservations about them because of the holes in the tread but I'm really liking them. They look great btw!

That's a great question. You should ask Caleb at C4 if they can make you some solid steps. I saw in another thread where they put TRD Pro instead of C4 Fab in the rear step. So there is some customization going on.

Might look like that in the picture but no. It really just brings the sway bar back to level like factory after the lift. I feel like it gave me additional flex for sure.

I thought it couldn't have just been the angle in the picture. I don't run sway bars. Just saw the picture and made me think.

I will be contacting a few builders to see what they will do for custom options. But I'm trying to narrow down to one particular style right now and looking for actual owners/users experience with use as a step with fancy shoes. Making the boss happy is the first priority when it comes to me shelling out so much coin. But I got to have a functioning slider for my future use of the truck. Thanks for your feedback and welcome any other thoughts from other members.

Enough to get some vice-grips on em? I've found that taking a Dremel and making a slot in it makes it possible to work it out with a screwdriver.

I think there is enough to grab them. I'm going to let them sit with some penetrating lubricant for the next week and deal with them when I get back from Montana. I sould have been packing anyway.

This happened to me when I was working on my old jeep. I ended up pot welding a nut onto it and using a wrench. Good luck!!
