I have mine adjusted like that too. I had a 370Z before which had a huge blind spot on the quarter panels, but the convex is a nice additional aid.

Used the rigid brackets and drilled up into the middle bumper lip. Used a rectangle flat bracket on top of plastic to stabilize mount. Desert Dawg did it first. Check out his build thread for picture close up of install.

Took everything out , took the carpet to a detail shop and started cleaning every thing i possibly could...
Spilled some nasty shit (not meat juice haha) in the cargo area, seeped under the carpet and traveled all the way forward...
Although it sucks for you, it's pretty cool to see the floor down to the metal. At least for me!

I'd be nervous about that, for sure. And, I feel like it would just be annoying on the day to day too.

Last day of the Ouray vacation, my brother left today so I solo'ed a National Forest access road with the wife. We must've been the first vehicle this season as I cleared several trees. The new axe has been sufficiently broken in on this trip! (Forgive the image quality, these are just quick screen caps of the unprocessed (thus unsharpened) raw files. Gotta lot of images to process when I get home...)
