What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

YES. Was over 100 yesterday and works great. So basically there's a fan that goes under your chair which is super quiet and plugs into the cigarette lighter. There's a little switch where you can control the amount of air level (1-5).

The air going through the seat is whatever air that is inside the cabin. As the cabin gets colder with your a/c on, the air flowing through the seat gets colder as well. Turning on the air to the feet make the cold air freezing going to the back since the fan is right there under the seat where the vent for the rear seats are.

Sounds like I need to look into getting this then. Thanks!

How is that Yakima basket working for you (assuming it's a Yak)? I was thinking about getting a Megawarrior as a temporary solution while I decide if I want a Gobi, and then during the inevitable wait for it.

It's just ok. Too tall, and not enough room to fit all of our gear for camping(3 kids, the wife and I)And I don't care for all of that weight on the stock roof rails. Not any fun putting the bikes all the way up there either. But, I have had it for a while, and just moved it over onto it from my old vehicle at the dealership. Really looking hard at the K9 over the Gobi. I like the tracks for mounting, and not being limited by sides. Lower profile unloaded. Lighter being aluminum. Plus, it's MADE for RTT's and awnings. I sound like a commercial,but having just read what I wrote, I'm definitely doing the K9. LMAO. I will buy the Gobi ladder though.

Pics? Yeah, Ended up doing the alignment at the Les Schwab near my house($56!!). All the guys/techs had lifted crawlers in the lot. And they wanted $345 ea for the KO2's!! They were all running the Toyo's, two said they moved from the KO2's to the Toyo's, and liked them better in the snow and on the rocks. And they were $239 ea.(discount tire wanted $275 ea for the BFG's)So, I figured WTH, I'll give them a shot. Haven't had them off-road yet. But, I'm in Grand Junction all this week. May shoot out to Moab and see what's up. Kinda skeered without sliders. On another note,I'm pumped for some Fruita Mtn biking!! I'll post some pics if I get some good ones.

Finally upgraded the suspension to Bilsteins 6112/5160 setup. Icon 2" rear coils and Total Chaos UCA. Front set on the 4th perch looks like I will get 2.5" front and 2" rear. Really happy so far and will get on some dirt this weekend.

Thanks for the heads up about the Fox fitment issues and I'm sorry that you've had such a hard time with them. I was pretty much ready to pull the trigger on those until you passed along your experience. Hope it gets sorted out soon for you.

I had a rock chip on the windshield of my 3 week old 4R repaired today. Hahaha.

I drove to work for the second time since owning it. Rolled 100 miles! Felt compelled to register for the forums so I can join a good 4runner community.

Sluice Clean up had five flakes in rubber matting. Have pan to pan material from sluice still. Sorry no PIC's but when i have the fever i have to force myself to even drink water, it was 90 yesterday and i was pooped when i got done. Dug the drop zone of a large boulder that was under high water over the winter and blowout. Got about 3-4 feet down, boulder after boulder removal . Ran a lot of material. Fingers crossed.

I knew I was done for the day when I asked myself why i was trying to get this last bolder out buy myself with a larger one looming above it. I under cut the top boulder about a foot in. I didn't want to be found head down in a pool of water with and 800 pounder on my head.

Got home around 3:00pm, showered and passed out on the couch, woke around midnight, eat went back to sleep woke this moring, unloaded the 4R, washed it. Off to work I go. Will pan it out tomorrow and post a PIC.

Got "doored" pulling into a spot in the Home Depot parking lot. Turns into a big PITA quick. Guy flipped his door open right as I was beside him. Might have to sue the guy to get subpoena power to force HD to give the video footage to me just to prove fault > They're very hard to deal with in this regard. It would be easy if HD would just burn me a copy of 3 minutes of video so I can show the insurance companies definitive evidence.

I hate owning repaired cars. They're never the same. Now I'm basically screwed with a repainted fender. Not much I can do other than sell it and buy another clean one and start over.

In other news - I will be putting a dash cam in both of my cars ASAP. Would have been REALLY nice in this situation.

I also know someone who had a accident hit and run in HD parking lot. They would not turn over any evidence either.

Guy parked his car far away with nobody parked around him. Got side swiped. I still think it's worse to park in a secluded place like that.
