What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

It literally just hit me, due to your post, that I can plug the freakin vacuum into the trunk.

Electrical is definitely one of my weakest areas, but I don't believe you can run a full power vacuum off the plugs in the 4r for extended periods. I think it's been discussed before. Maybe look into it before you try.. Otherwise, happy vacuuming.

I have a 12v vacuum that looks like an old dust buster style. It's ok but a little weak for some things.

T4 power plugs - Engine running in park or neutral 400w. In gear the power drops to 100w available. If your vacuum takes less than 400w it will work with the engine running. The inverter will not turn on without the engine running.

Nice! I've had mine for 2 days also and i made my tint appoint meant for monday! gotta pull off the dealer tint and redo properly. can't mess around with tint here in AZ.

Arrived Columbia, MD (Suburb of Baltimore) after 18 hour (would have been 17 without D/C rush hour), 1100 mile trip from Miamiish area.. Left 2:00 pm yesterday, arrived 8:00 am today. As I said in earlier post, only way to do it with a 4 year old, 16 month old and 12 year old mutt (all who slept through the night). Got wife/copilot assist for 4 hours of driving last night.

Handing kids off to grandparents and...Nite Nite!

Well, I will say I wish we would have attempted this a bit earlier than we did.
As you can see from the pictures the sun was coming down on us, and we didn't want to back there too late. So after some time passed we decided to pull it out and head home.

BUT, I had that thing buried pretty good, and within 10 minutes, the craw control managed to dig out and up nearly an inch. I was somewhat impressed.
It was pretty neat to hop of the window and see the truck work its self with no driver! :naughty:

So, overall I believe in time it would have crawled out of that messy river silt on its own. I plan to go back with more daylight and possibly video the whole thing so I can post it!

I've seen FJ's pull themselves out of beach sand with CC, would be good to have a vid of T4R, using CC pulling itself out of something as fine as Mississippi River river silt!

YES. My wife hates it when I use Crawl, she says the truck sounds like it's coming apart.

That may have done the trick as well, I was running 30lbs.
