My BudBuilt sliders arrived bright and early this morning! Full tread plate, w/bump. Suckers weigh a ton. I managed to get them unpacked and loaded in the back of the 4Runner, so I can take it to the shop in the morning and have them do the install.
Also went to the car wash and got the 4R cleaned up today.
Still waiting for my Gobi "no rise" rack. I ordered it April 20 so hopefully it will be coming soon.

Outstanding Service Today
Just had excellent service at Toyota of Wilmington. Took it in for Trans fluid change and technician Keith let me walk back look at the fluid with him. It looked and smelled fine. Suggested I save my money as Toyota recommends fluid for lifetime of transmission. He checked all the fluids and sent me out the door for a big fat nothing bill. $ 0.00

Maiden Voyage... First off road experience up at Fall River. I should have taken more pics, couldn't quite get I good shot of the terrain. I have to say though, I was pretty nervous gettin on the trail with the brand new beast! But that's what they're built for right?!

I've only had a saw on it for maybe 50km (~30mi) so far. no leaks that I could see from a saw that was about half full of bar oil and maybe a 1/3 of a tank of fuel. I would think that spillage would likely be a function of a huge number of factors......
.....in my limited experience with this mount to date, I can definitively say that my husqvarna 235 that was cold, partly full, which does not normally leak, and was being driven on city highways did not leak. your experience may vary.
Kolpin does make a "boot" which covers the bar and part of the power unit more extensively if you're worried about leaks, though I think you need a different mount to use with it.
